ADULT HOCKEY


The Apex Adult Hockey League (AAHL) is a competitive, non-check, coed Apex Adult Hockey League (AAHL) in-house at the Apex Center Ice Arena, 13150 W. 72nd Ave. Coed adult divisions for ages 18+ with 3 seasons annually: Fall (September), Winter (January), Spring/Summer (May). Both evening and lunch divisions play 10 regular season games concluding with single elimination playoffs, a team trophy retained by the AAHL and individual awards or t-shirts.

USA Hockey Registration
Please register for USA Hockey prior to starting the registration process. A USA Hockey number is mandatory for league registration. Certified USA Hockey referees and rules will be used.

DIVISIONS
C - Designed for the intermediate player. Tuesday nights.
D - Designed for the intermediate/recreational player. Monday nights.
Over 40 - Designed for the intermediate/recreational player. Sunday nights.

LUNCH LEAGUE
Designed for the intermediate/recreational player.

Thursday Lunch League: 11:30am - 1pm    Season Starts 9/14. REGISTER HERE

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Team Managers: AAHL Fall 2017 Team Registration (this link is for Team Managers only, not players) and enable players to register for team.  You will need to have email addresses for your players.
Players:  If you are not a Manager or Captain, do not go through this process.  You will receive an email from this Site after your Manager registers.  Click on the link in that email and sign in using the email address you received the email at so you can register to be a player on the team of your Team Manager.

AAHL FAQs:

  • When does the next season start?
    • The Apex Adult Hockey League has three season throughout the year: Winter (January-April), Summer (May-August), and Fall (September-December).
    • Each season is 10 regular season games followed by single elimination playoffs.
  • What levels/divisions do you have?
    • Over 40 – Sunday nights: Designed for recreational/intermediate players
    • D league – Monday nights: Designed for recreational/intermediate players
    • C league – Tuesday nights: Designed for intermediate/competitive players
  • Do you take free agents?
    • Yes, we take free agents – however, we cannot guarantee placement. The league will do our best to find a spot for each free agent, but needs vary by team each season.
    • To sign up as a free agent, please email ApexHockey@ApexPRD.org with the following information: Your name, age, division you hope to join, position, and highest level played.
  • Is the AAHL a USA Hockey registered league?
  • Who certifies AAHL officials?
