Residence Hall Drop In Tournament

Staying in a residence hall for Summer C session? Come join our 1-day drop in soccer tournaments! IM Sports will be having a nightly 3-on-3 soccer tournament on Wednesday and Thursday, July 5th and 6th, at the Main Campus Fields. Sign up on-site beginning at 6:30 pm each night. We will crown a champion each night. If you do not have a team, show up and we will put you on a team. For more information on 3-v-3 soccer, check our soccer rules page.

IM Policy Change

The Intramural Sports administrative staff has made a change to the Participation policy. In order to provide the best experience to all participants and to allow for fair play in all sports, there has been a change in the team roster composition with single gender leagues. This rule is effective immediately for all sports except flag football. It will be effective at the start of playoffs for flag football.
Here is the updated policy:
B. Team Composition, Single-Gender Leagues
Due to limited participation opportunities within our women’s divisions, female participants are permitted to participate on men’s teams for sports in which gender specific leagues are offered for both men and women during the same season. The limitation of one single-gender team per student still applies. Thus, when a female chooses to participate on a men’s team, she forfeits her right to participate on a women’s team in the same sport. Male participants are restricted to participating on a men’s team.
For sports in which gender-specific leagues for both men and women are not offered during the same season, players may participate on any one team regardless of gender.
