October Paint & Sip will be a Picasso Selfie portrait. Painters please bring a selfie of yourself or someone you would like to paint.

Grab a bottle of wine and your friends and join us each month to experience a social and fun atmosphere where our artist instructor will walk you step-by-step to complete a piece of artwork. All skill levels are welcome. All under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. BYOB.

2024 Fall Fest- Chili Cook-Off - Fall 2024

IT’S TIME TO BRING THE HEAT! Does your chili have what it takes to make the judges sweat? It’s time to prove it. The City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department is hosting our first annual chili cook-off on October 19th at our Fall Fest/La Verde Ribbon cutting event!

Registration will be limited to the first 10 teams.

Registration cost: $50.00 per entry

The event will take place from 2:00-6:00pm. You will be allowed to set up your chili stations beginning at 11:00am and MUST have chili ready by 2:20pm *failure to do so will result in disqualification. * Each team’s chili station must fit within a 10x10 assigned by city staff. Event & Vendor setup will be emailed by October 14th.

NEW in 2024!! Chili must be made on-site. Chili Made off-site will be disqualified.

Presentational 2024 Fall Fest - Cornhole Tournament visual

2024 Fall Fest - Cornhole Tournament - Fall 2024

Grab a buddy or two and come compete for 'bagging rights' in the La Verde Fall Fest Tournament on Saturday, October 19. Games will be played at La Verde Park in the Brick and Mortar district during our second annual Fall Festival. Team check-in and warm up begins at 2pm, games begin at 2:30pm. 

Prizes to 1st and 2nd place teams. Registration fee is $30 per team. Please, only register one person per team. Teams must be a minimum of 2 players and maximum of 3 players, 18 years or older. Tournament will be double elimination play. 

Please bring your own cornhole bags. 14-16 oz bags

Presentational Tennis Lessons visual

Tennis Lessons - Summer 2024

Whether you're a seasoned player or just picking up a racket for the first time, these lessons are perfect for all skills levels. All lessons are held on Saturdays at Lehman High Tennis courts.

  • Youth Lessons:  $48 per registration; 11am – 12pm; for Ages 5-10 years
  • Middle School Lessons: $60 per registration; 10am – 11am; for Ages 11-14 years
  • Adult Lessons: $75 per registration; 9am – 10am  for Ages 18+ years

Participants can register for each session which includes 4 classes. Sessions available are below:

  • November sessions: November 2, 9, 16, & 23

Halloween Boogie for All Abilities Dance - Fall 2024

Join us for our third annual Halloween Boogie for All Abilities Dance! Put on your best friendly costume and get ready for a spooktacular evening! There will be music, food, raffle prizes, and a 360-photo booth. Admission is FREE and welcomes all abilities and ages.

Parents and guardians are welcome to drop off their participants, and those requiring additional support may attend with an attendant. Please note that all participants and any accompanying adult(s) MUST register online prior to the event. 

Come dance, socialize, and make unforgettable memories with us at the Halloween Boogie for All Abilities Dance!

Art in the Park 2024 - Annual 2024

Please join us for an all-ages Art Program.

Art in the Park will create and build an assortment of themed items.

Located at Mary Kyle Hartson City Square Park in either the Gazebo or Krug building.

Event begins at 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM

Please expect your project to take at least 30 minutes.

NO REFUNDS, if you miss the event, please request a "to go" project for pick up at Lake Kyle the week following the event.

Please wear clothing you do not mind possibly getting ruined by paint, glue or other project supplies.

Class registration is limited. If we have less than 5 entries class will be canceled for that month.
