Update on 2024 Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board ice rink building and ice safety
Posted on 11 January, 2024
We have been and will continue to water continuously a minimum of 14 hours per day. We have a solid plan in place to get the snow removed on Saturday morning and will start to put out larger amounts of water in two shifts after that. We are moving into flooding mode between Saturday and Tuesday and will reassess rinks Tuesday morning.
Information on ice rinks locations, warming room hours, and the rink building process is available at minneapolisparks.org/rinks
Information specific to Broomball leagues will be communicated once rinks are ready for play.
