This league will be sponsored by NFL Flag and the Minnesota Vikings. Teams will be split into 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade divisions. Girls flag football is on the rise around the country and is in the process of becoming a high school sanctioned sport in Minnesota. Join the fun today!

Youth flag football teams compete in a league with surrounding communities. Participants are encouraged to attend Training Camp before the season. Teams will be created after Training Camp with the goal of balancing teams as much as possible. Practices will be held every Tues/Thurs from 6:00 – 7:00p starting Aug 20th until games start, then will be Tuesdays only. Games & Practices will be held at the Roosevelt Elementary fields.
EQUIPMENT CHECK OUT: Aug 5 - 6, 2024 (5:00 - 7:00p)
YOUTH FOOTBALL NIGHT: All teams will be recognized before a Willmar High Varsity Football game at Hodapp Field. 3rd/4th grade teams will play on the field during halftime (9/13/24)

Practices are held on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 6:00p-7:00p until the season begins, then will be Tuesdays only.Games will be played on Thursday nights. Start times are 6:00p/7:15p, with the younger division generally playing early, and the older division later, depending on the number of teams and field availability.

Join the Willmar Varsity Football coaches and players for a week of drills, games, and fun competition. This camp is for Willmar players only entering 1st-8th grades. Participants will be evaluated to balance youth teams for the 2024 football season. 1st-4th graders will wear soft helmets for all 4 days. Equipment checkout will be Aug 5 & 6 from 5-7pm at the Willmar Civic Center.
