WILLMAR FASTPITCH (10u-18u)

Teams will be divided at Evaluations into League Teams and Tournament Teams

League Teams: 2 games per week in Crow River League (based in Hutchinson).  1 or 2 days during the week for practices

Tournament Teams: 1 league game per week in St Cloud League.  Practices vary.  Some weekend tournaments.

League games are played in June - July.  Fees will vary based on team placement.

OPEN GYMS

Open to all 8u-14u players.  Open Gyms will be led by the Willmar School Coaches and Willmar Softball Association
No fee to attend, but athletes need to have a parent sign a waiver to participate.

Saturdays: Jan 25, Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 15, Mar 1

EVALUATIONS

***Evaluations are required if you are planning on playing for a 10u, 12u, or 14u team this season***
Saturday, March 15, 2025
- Willmar High School West Gym
- 10u: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
- 12u: 3:30pm - 5:00pm
- 14u: 5:30pm - 7:00pm
- Make up date: TBD
There is no fee to attend evaluations, but please register ahead of time to help with staffing.
Teams will be organized into either a League Team or a League/Tournament Team

WILLMAR REC SOFTBALL (6u/8u)

Softball practices will begin on June 13th and games will be played in July. Participants will learn basic softball skills, which include throwing, catching, hitting, base running and more. 

Games will be mixed teams of day and evening participants on July 9, 11, 16,18, 23 and 25 between 6:00PM and 8:00PM. A game schedule will be sent out at a later date.

Parent & Athlete Informational Meeting on March 15th (during your athlete’s evaluation) We will discuss program goals, travel from middle school to high school, and scrimmages
