Little Lions U4 Spring 2025 - Spring I 2025

The ECSC U4 division is unlike any other program you will find. If your 2.5- 3 year old is brand new to soccer, Little Lions is where its at! U4 is run by Coaches Robert Long and Lori Babers. Coach Robert is a veteran coach with over 35 years of soccer experience. His goal for your Little Lion is to teach them a bit about how soccer works. They will learn how to pass, how to shoot, how to dribble and how to be an amazing teammate! Since ECSC strives to be such a family friendly culture, we encourage all parents to join the Little Lions on field at practice and work with your kids to bond and have a great time. Here are a few highlights of the ECSC U4 program.

• 1 practice per week on assigned week night (either 5:30 or 6:30), exact days will be available during the scheduling process.
• The Little Lions will be invited to play a scrimmage game during the half time show of two of the U15 games during the season (Saturday Morning on the 4th and 8th game weeks)
• Favorite games such as red light, green light, Simon says, "Kick the coach", and many more.
• Roster sizes of 10 or less

Rosters will be published 2/14. Practices begins the week of 2/24 and are held Tuesday or Friday of each week. 

Game dates: 4/12 (USA Day), 5/10 (Championship  & 5pm end of season party)

In the event of rain cancellation:  5/17 (Championship  & 5pm end of season party)

Welcome to the East Cherokee Soccer League. I'm sure by now you have experienced the magic of our program, or have heard about it. You will not find another program like ours anywhere! The mission of our league is to help players develop their love for the game of soccer through faith, teamwork, hard work, and competition. Through our dedication of teaching the game of soccer,  we have partnered with US Club Soccer to offer the best experience for our players, and their families. Throughout the season you will find the most amazing coaching staff, a truly convenient schedule and tons of fun, even outside the game of soccer. You may have seen ECSC at the Canton Christmas parade, Trunk R Treat or maybe even driving down the road with our one of a kind "Soccer Shack". We are a family and we invite you to come join us for yet another amazing season. 

Our program offers a super awesome, recreational program for ages 3-14 and the BEST game day experience that you could ask for. Our coaching staff are trained through US Soccer to be hands on and help the players develop far beyond the game of soccer. Our game format: 
U6 - (4) 10 min periods / 6 v 6 (no Goalie, Coaches on Field) - 10 Players or less on Rosters

U8 - (4) 12 min periods / 7 v 7 (6 players plus Goalie, Official/Referee scored) - 12 Players or less on Rosters

U10 & U12 -  (2) 30 min halves / 7 v 7 (6 players plus Goalie, Official/Referee scored)  - 13 Players or less on Rosters

U15 - (2) 32 min halves / 9 v 9 (8 players plus Goalie, Official/Referee scored, offsides enforced) - 15 Players or less on Rosters

Each divisional game will start promptly following the National Anthem and honoring the flag.
