2024 T&F FINAL - NEW RECORDS SET

Congratulations to the 400+ athletes that competed in our 2024 T&F Finals last week.

3 new league & 24 top 5 records were set.  Of note:
 
- Oliver Olbekson (Borel) established new league records in both the Boys 8th 800m and 1600m events.  He beat the long held records of Paul MacQuity (Greene) that was established in 2006.  He took a whopping 6.24 seconds off the 800m record and 17.87 seconds off the 1600m record.

- Evelyn Luong (Fletcher) established a new Girls 8th Long Jump record of 15"5", which is an amazing 6.5 inches longer than the previous record.
 
- Tarun Nikhil (JLS) finished 2nd to Oliver Olbekson in the Boys 8th 1600 and also beat Paul MacQuity's 2006 record by 6.57 seconds.
