Tackle Football Registration 2025 - Fall 2025

SWYFA is a member of the regional PYFA that spans from Santa Rosa Beach to Washington counties. We adhere to their time tested and evolving codes of ethical conduct, coaching requirements, and certification. This is a competitive league with many long standing rivalries. We call this the Seahawks FAMILY for a reason, and we are glad to welcome you into it. 

 

Practice is typically held 3 times a week during preseason and 3-4 a week once games begin. The season spans 8-10 game regular season plus playoff games. More information to come about our schedule in early summer.

  • What side of the field is home side?: The Home Side is the side closest to the concession stand.
  • What if I want to volunteer as a coach?: Please email pyfasouthwalton@gmail.com and put "I'm interested in Coaching" as the subject line.
  • How do I stay informed?: Follow us on Facebook and Instagram! Download the teamsideline app and sign up for text and mailing list. Coaches will send communication too.
  • When and where are games played?: Games are played on Saturdays. The PYFA will release the schedule as soon as it is finalized.
  • When will football practices start?: Practices will start mid to late July. 2-3 days per week
  • Are there any additional costs?: Football players are responsible for their own football pants, cleats, and additional mouthpieces throughout the year.
  • What is the cost to register?: Registration is $250. Football registration fees includes equipment rental (helmet/pads) and game day jersey.
  • Who is the governing organization?: The South Walton Youth Seahawks play under the PYFA (Panhandle Youth Football Association) umbrella. Information on the PYFA can be found at www.thepyfa.org.
