Description: Shakespeare Garden is our most requested wedding site.  There is a natural brick walkway that leads to a beautiful backdrop of trees, and annual and perennial flowers from spring to fall.  There are 12 benches located in the Garden which can be moved and set aside for rented chairs, but must be replaced when the event is over.  Electricity is not convenient.  Some people request to use the electricity from the pump house by the fountain, they have to provide their own heavy duty extension cord down the hill and over the road.  The Parks Superintendent needs to be notified prior to the event by email gourleyr@burlingtoniowa.org or by phone at 319-753-8117 to ensure the power is turned on.  We encourage that you bring a generator as it would be much easier for you.
