Course Description: Have you seen kayakers on Lake Coeur d' Alene and wished that you could be a part of the fun? Here's your chance to gain hands-on experience and confidence with a variety of boats! Each session will build upon the previous and consist of an overview of techniques with your instructor and a paddle tour of Lake Coeur d' Alene. We will cover types of kayaks, basic paddle strokes and introduce you to self-rescues. Class content is designed for the beginner. Fee includes use of all equipment.
Students under 15yrs old may register if accompanied by a parent. Youth 15 and up are welcome without a guardian. Tandem kayaks are available!

Course Description: Enjoy a quick introduction to kayaking on Lake Coeur d' Alene. You will learn basic terminology and simple technique followed by a paddle on the lake. All abilities are welcome, but this class is designed for beginners. Fee includes use of all equipment. Students must be comfortable in the water wearing a personal floatation device.

Standup Paddleboarding

Course Description: Come experience the most accessible water sport in America with Outdoor Pursuits! Our instructors will have you standing and paddling your way across Lake Coeur d' Alene in no time. This course is designed for the beginner. All students should be prepared to get very wet and swimming skills are required. Fee includes a 2-hour lesson and a 1 day rental good for any day this season.
Students must be 15 years of age and are welcome to participate without a guardian.
