Support Wakema Courts 2026

Help us bring Wakema Courts 2026 to life!  Center Point Parks & Recreation is working to replace the aging basketball court at Wakema Park with two pickleball courts and a half basketball court, creating a space where residents of all ages can play, compete, and connect.  

Ways to Donate

1. Donate Online here at TeamSideline.  *Online donations include a transaction processing fee.  

2. Donate by Check.  Checks can be mailed to: PO Box 299, City of Center Point, IA, 52213.  Checks can also be dropped off at City Hall during regular business hours.  

 

Sponsorship Opportunities

Community Champion - $1,000 (prominent name recognition on permanent donor signage)

Park Partner - $500 (name listed on donor recognition signage)

Court Supporter - $250 (name included in campaign recognition materials) 

Friend of Wakema - $100 (name included in campaign recognition materials)

Leadership sponsorship opportunities are also available.

  • When will the project be completed?: Construction of Wakema Courts is planned for the fall of 2026. The project timeline will be finalized once construction contracts are awarded.
  • Will the courts be open to the public?: Yes. The courts will be a public recreation amenity available for use at Wakema Park.
