Youth Scholarship Opportunities

1) Workforce Sports Equipment Scholarship (Workforce Beca de Equipamiento Deportivo)  
Workforce and Holland Recreation have teamed up to offer registered youth participants an equipment scholarship to help pay for required sports equipment for Holland Recreation programs and leagues.  Examples of sports equipment that could receive a scholarship would be football helmet and pads, soccer shin guards, and lacrosse helmet and pads.  Equipment is purchased by the participant and then reimbursed through Holland Recreation.

2) Sal Perez Youth Scholarship (Sal Perez Beca Juvenil)
Sal Perez served the City of Holland for 31 years and was an active volunteer in a variety of Holland Recreation programs until his passing in 2004. He had a true love for the City of Holland and its citizens. With Sal's value of people in mind and with the generous support and contributions of the community, Holland Recreation Division is able to offer the Sal Perez Youth Scholarship to children who reside within the Holland City limits. Scholarships are awarded to cover a portion of the registration fee for Holland Recreation programs for those who show a financial need. 

Requirements
If you are applying for a scholarship, please apply by clicking on the link below and submit at least one week prior to the posted registration deadline.  You will be emailed regarding your scholarship status.  Parents are still required to register the participant into the program and pay the registration fee balance.  Applying and receiving a scholarship does not automatically register the participant into the program.
