Adaptive Sports Exploration
This collaborative program, offered by the City of Holland, Hope College, and Special Olympics Michigan, is designed to help children with varying disabilities explore movement and develop motor skills. Open to students in 2nd through 6th grade, the program introduces basic sport skills through fun, inclusive, and engaging activities. Hope College Sports Studies students will volunteer alongside participants, offering guidance and support at a pace tailored to each child’s individual ability and progress. The four sports included in this program will be Track & Field, Soccer, Basketball, and Softball.

This fun-focused triathlon is a chance for kids to try their hand at all three disciplines - swimming, biking, and running - in a non-competitive environment.
