Comprised of an ice skating pond, 700 foot skating ribbon, and a separate curling sheet, the Holland Ice Park is a much anticipated addition to the Downtown Holland landscape and the City of Holland as a whole. Amenities of the new facility will include skate rental, learn to skate programming, daily open skate times, concessions, event and family programming, as well as additional use year round as a programming space for Holland Parks & Recreation. The Holland Ice Park will open for its first season on Friday, November 14, 2025

The Holland Ice Park offers Open Skate Tickets and Curling Sheet Reservations. Tickets for both activities must be purchased separately. Tickets MUST be purchased online in advance at hollandrecreation.com, as space per session is limited. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for your scheduled session. We look forward to skating with you at the Ice Park this season!

Please note: Additional Open Skate Tickets and Curling Sheet Reservations will be released two weeks at a time on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Open Skate Tickets

Enjoy the ice at your own pace. Whether you’re skating with friends, practicing your skills, or just gliding for fun, everyone is welcome. Skaters of all ages and abilities can enjoy recreational ice time in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. All open skate sessions are 90-minutes in length, and weather dependent. Online reservations are required as Maximum Capacity is 150 Skaters per timeslot. Those 15 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

Curling Sheet Reservations

Experience the fun and strategy of curling right at the Holland Ice Park. Our curling sheet is a unique, half-size version of a regulation sheet perfect for casual play and group fun. Reservations are available for groups of up to 8 people and include modified curling stones. Each reservation is a 90-minute session, making it a great option for families and friends to enjoy a casual game together.

Learn to Skate Programming

Holland Parks & Recreation will be offering Learn to Skate programming at the Holland Ice Park. These programs are a great opportunity for kids to develop the basic skills of ice skating in a fun and supportive environment. Whether they have never skated before or have some experience, participants will focus on improving balance, control, and movement on the ice.

Grand Opening

Join us for our Grand Opening celebration on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Holland Ice Park at 2:00 PM. A formal program and ribbon cutting will take place at 2:00 PM, followed later that evening by the first public open skate session at 6:00 PM. Tickets for all Open Skate Sessions and Curling Sheet Reservations will be required and must be purchased in advance.
