If you are registered as assistant coach and need access, one additional email address may be added to the team by an administrator

Adding An Additional Contact to the TeamSite

If a parent is not listed on the parent roster of the TeamSite, they must be added to the account by the primary account holder who created the registration.   A Coach does not have the ability to add additional contacts to the TeamSite.


  1. Login to TeamSideline account

  2. Click Members

  3. Click Add Parent and then enter contact information


Note: Logins for each parent are separate.  Please use a unique email address.  This is ideal for separated parents as they can both have access to their child(rens) enrollments, team sites, etc.




Accessing/Printing CYC Picture Roster

You must be the registered Head Coach on the official roster to access this feature.  An admin may assign a secondary email of a registered assistant coach to also access this feature.


  1. Login to your parent account from any browser (not from the app):  https://www.teamsideline.com/sites/cycsouthcentral/home  (DO NOT login to your Teamsite or the Team App…picture roster is not listed there)

  2. From your account homepage, under the Team Information section, choose your team



  1. Scroll down to the Rosters section and click the Picture Roster button.  This will automatically download a PDF version of your official picture roster. 


Your picture roster will also include your coaches with their coach ID#.  If a coach ID# is not populating on the roster, please click the Check Compliance button under item #3 at:  https://playcyc.org/coach/


If your coach ID# is listed there, please contact your Sport Director to have it added.

If your coach ID# is not listed, please complete the requirements to obtain your number.


Adding Picture Roster to the Team Site

Go to the “Files” tab on your site.  

  1. Click the button “Add File”

  2. Select your file

  3. Name your document





  1. Your picture roster will also include your coaches with their coach ID#.  If a coach ID# is not populating on the roster, please click the  Check Compliance button under item #3 at:  https://playcyc.org/coach/


If your coach ID# is listed there, please contact your Sport Director to have it added.

If your coach ID# is not listed, please complete the requirements to obtain your number.



Linking The Schedule To Your TeamSite


NOTE:  Schedules must first be published by South Central CYC before they can be added to your TeamSite.  Schedules will be viewable here:

  1. Login to your coach account from any browser (not from the app):  https://www.teamsideline.com/sites/cycsouthcentral/home

  2. From your account homepage, under the Team Sites section, choose your team






  1. Click on the Events tab




  1. Then click Manage Linked Schedules 





  1. Click Find Schedules To Add





  1. Enter your Coach Last Name and CYC to find your team from the list. 


NOTE - this searches ALL SCHEDULES IN THE TEAM SIDELINE SYSTEM so you must include CYC to find our schedules


  1. Find your schedule in the list.  Be sure it is the correct League, Season & Sport.  Then click the green plus sign to link it to your site.

Instructions

  1. Login to your coach account from any browser (not from the app):  https://teamsideline.com/sites/cycsouthcentral/Home









  1. From your account homepage, under the Team Information section, choose All Teams 



  1. Click on the view icon next to the Team and Offering/Division you would like to update. Choose the team schedule of the affected game, it will have your league name in the Offering/Division Column in cases where a coach has multiple teams and/or .5 or 2x schedules.



  1. League/Division Contacts are at the top of the page.



Reschedule a Game

CYC south Central Reschedule Policy:

Our reschedule policy will be the same as previous years. All reschedule requests must be submitted, through the form below, by Monday @ 5pm for games scheduled the next weekend. For example, if your team has a game scheduled for Saturday, January 7th, the reschedule request must be submitted by Monday, January 2nd OR it will be subject to forfeit.


  1. If you have five (5) players and a coach (doesn’t have to be the head coach, it can be the assistant(s) listed on the roster), the game should be played as scheduled.

  2. Look for unused slots: https://teamsideline.com/sites/cycsouthcentral/Home -> General -> Downloads -> Basketball Schedules -> Basketball 2023 Unused Slots

  3. Contact Opposing Coach, see above View Opposing Coach Contact Information to work out reschedule date/time

  4. Complete Reschedule Form, https://teamsideline.com/sites/cycsouthcentral/Home -> Game Tools -> 2023 Basketball Schedule Change -> You should pick the Gym the game is scheduled to be played at NOT your parish name from the list.

  5. If you are rescheduling the game to a different gym, you will need to fill out the form twice. Once for the original gym location, #4 above, and once by selecting the new gym site form. The reason for this is a limitation within Team Sideline to the automated emails that need to be distributed. Complete Reschedule Form, https://teamsideline.com/sites/cycsouthcentral/Home -> Game Tools -> 2023 Basketball Schedule Change -> You should pick the Gym you would like your rescheduled game to be played at NOT your parish name from the list.


Note: Coaches need to realize that rescheduling games has an affect on the other team as well. Your players might be playing in other leagues and get plenty of games but for some of our athletes, this is all they have. We need to make every effort to play every game as scheduled. If I see or hear of a coach asking to move multiple games for reasons other than parish/school conflicts, there may be consequences imposed on them up to and including not allowing their team to participate in the District and CYC Playoffs. Playoff seeding will be based on WINS not on winning %. I believe this will encourage the coaches to play as many games as possible.
