Diablo Valley Futsal League - 2021-2022 - Winter 2021

Dates:
- Registration starts on 8/15/2021 and ends on 11/28/2021
- Games will start on the weekend of 12/4 - 12/5 - for more detailed information of game dates and locations visit the Registration page

Registering a team & adding players:
- Team Coach (or Manager) need to create an account with TeamSideline to register a team
- Once account is created, follow the prompts to register and pay for your team
- You will have the option to add the USFF (US Futsal Federation) fee (up to 12 players) when registering team so DVFL will take care of registering players w/ USFF
- Coaches need to register directly at USFF www.futsal.com
- After registering & paying for the team, the coach/manager can add players to roster. (registration fee is non-refundable) - for each player upload the Player's Waiver (first print, parent/guardian signs) - form also available at the Registration

Important:
- Game schedule will be posted on Wednesday night before the first weekend games
- Known soccer conflicts avoided AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE but once schedule is posted, there will be no guaranteed reschedule. Ok to request a reschedule but team requesting will be responsible for coordinating w/ opponent and DVFL
- All games to be played max 48 hours before any round depending on points, or it will be a forfeit for the team requesting the reschedule

Frequently Asked Questions

How many games my team will play?: DVFL provides a minimum of 7 games for all teams plus a championship game for first and second place teams.

How are the groups formed?: The groups will be formed based on number of registered teams per age group. The league might have, for example, 2010's playing in the same group of 2009's.

Where are the games played at?: We will be hosting most games on Saturdays at the NorCal Courts in Martinez and on Sundays at the Tice Valley Gym

Can I pick my game location?: No. Gym availability is limited and we need the flexibility to schedule games on all three locations to try to avoid known conflicts and fit all league games.

Last day to mention conflicts?: Conflicts need to be uploaded to the team registration form before registration closes.

Can we add players during the season?: Player(s) can be added after season starts but a team can only have up to 12 players registered. After the league games started, the new player needs to pay $20 as late reg. fee

USFF Reg. Fee needs to be paid online?: You can pay this fee for each player in the team online registration or provide proof of USFF / Cal North payment at check-in - without this, player cannot play

Can I use my Cal North player passes?: Yes, Teams registered with Cal North can upload player passes as proof of birth and insurance coverage.

Can I reschedule a game?: There is no guarantee of reschedule but possible if requesting team contacts opponent and they agree on an alternate date/time - this needs to happen AT LEAST 48 hours prior to original time!

When can I reschedule my game?: DVFL will have all available gym slots on our website. Requesting team is responsible for coordinating reschedule. Requests are considered, by email, on a first-come first-served basis.

No gym available for reschedule?: If there are no slots available listed on our website, requesting team can provide its own gym or keep checking for an opening. Games must be played BEFORE any playoff-type round to avoid a forfeit!
