Adult Recreation Softball

DO NOT REGISTER YOUR TEAM HERE!!!  You must first register your team at the Comm Ed and Rec Dept or online at www.fdlrecdept.com.  Team entry form and partial payment is REQUIRED.

After your team is registered and partial fees are paid, you will receive and email regarding how to register your rosters.  Coaches will be required to enter team members and their emails.  Players will then receive an email so they can register for individual teams.

Teams will register for a night.  Leagues will be divided up based off the total number of teams registered.  Teams will no longer register for a division, just a night.  Playoffs will be determined off league records and will be divided into playoff divisions.

Roster Frequently Asked Questions
  • When do games start?: Games will begin the week of May 4th, EXCEPT for Women's and Coed which will begin May 11th.
  • How will playoffs work?: Playoffs will begin Aug 17th. Teams will be divided into Playoff divisions based off of regular season records. Not all teams will make the playoffs. Playoffs will have an upper division and lower division.
  • Why are there not different divisions?: We decided to change the format slightly. We found teams did not want to register for upper divisions for various reason. Due to this, we will play a flat 14 game schedule and then divide leagues up for playoffs. This gives all teams a chance to participate in the playoffs. Yes, you might play top level teams during the season.
  • Why do I need an ID?: To show you are who you say you are. Rosters will always be live and updated. You should be able to see other teams rosters at all times.
  • Can I play on multiple teams?: You can play on different nights, however you may not play for multiple teams on the same night, exception, Wednesday nights. Men May play COED and also Men's league.
  • Are there individual player fees?: No, the price is PER TEAM. How your team divides up the fees is up to you. Team fees are: Women's and COED - $600 per team. Men's - $700 per team. Your sponsor can cover any amount they would like.
