LGS Basketball League is open to girls and boys attending K-8th grade. All Teams and Divisions will be organized by grade level: Coed Teams for Kinder and separate Girls and Boys Teams for 1st-8th grade. Each team will have a Valley Sports Camp coach who will lead their stable group in a variety of skill development drills and friendly competitions that abide by the Santa Clara County Health Guidelines. This won't be our traditional league play this year, but it will still encompass elements of league play with friendly competitions amongst the teams and will ensure that kids continue to develop their basketball skills this winter.

Practices and mini-competitions will begin January 23rd, and the season will run through March 6th. Practices will include individual skill development, team concepts, and friendly competitions all within their stable group at Redwood Middle School (outdoors)

Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register early to confirm your child’s spot, space is limited. Families should expect an email in mid December.

Tentative Divisions & Game Times:

All Teams will be organized into Grade Level Divisions and teams will be formed based on age, grade, and player skill.

Coed Teams for Kinder

Girls' Teams for 1st-8th

Boys' Teams for 1st-8th

Each team will participate in individual skill development drills, speed and agility work, circuit training, and friendly socially distanced mini-games/competitions. Teams will not be practicing/playing against other teams within the league, and will be maintaining a stable pod that follows the Santa Clara Health and Safety Guidelines. Each K-2 team will have a 1 hour practice, and 3rd-8th grade team will have a 1 hour 15 minute practice weekly. Drop-down hoops will be provided for K-2. Tentative playing times for the grade levels is below, but this may change based on registration numbers. Weekday options may be available on a first come first serve (Tuesday or Thursday between 3:00 and 5:00 pm).

Kinder & 1st Grade Divisions: 9:00 am - 10:00 am

2nd Grade Division: 10:15 am - 11:15 am

3rd Grade Division: 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm

4th/5th Grade Divisions: 1:45 pm - 3:00 pm

6th-8th Grade Division: 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm

Registration Fee until December 6th: $265

After December 6th: $280
