Lufkin Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the Chalk Art feature at this year's Mobil Art Park. The Chalk Art feature will occur at the on E. Shepherd Ave. and 2nd Street Downtown Lufkin. on April 22 2022
The Parks and Recreation Department will have three divisions recognized this year. The Child Division will be ages 6-12, Junior Division will be ages 13-18 and the Adult Division will be ages 18 and up. The department will only accept three (3) applications per division, and all submissions are first come, first serve.
The artist's experience is joyful, as this is not a judged art competition. This event promises to be focused on chalk art and the spontaneous creation of art. We take great pride in the experience of attendees and artists alike.
