Rookie League of OKC
The Rookie League Foundation of Oklahoma is committed to enriching the lives of our youth and fostering a love of the game. This league provides a developmental, fun and safe environment for the enjoyment of the game of baseball. The OKC Rookie League intends to help youth to set and work towards common goals, and to build the citizens of tomorrow through character, leadership ability and confidence.
League Information:
- When: Games start March 30th, 2024
- First Practice: Week of March 18th, 2024
- Location: Games are played at Wheeler Park located at 1120 Western Ave in Oklahoma City.
- Registration Deadline: February 22nd, 2024
- League Format: 7 game schedule, followed by special event at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark (2 S Mickey Mantle Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73104)
- Divisions:
- 4U - T-Ball ($35 per player)
- 6U - T-Ball ($35 per player)
- 8U - Coach Pitch ($55 per player)
- 10U - Kid Pitch ($55 per player)
- 12U - Kid Pitch ($55 per player)
- Age cutoff is May 1, 2024. For age verification, see USSSA Age Calculator.
- Equipment Provided: OKC Baseball Team will provide jerseys, hats, and belts for each player. Players are responsible for a glove, shoes and pants.
- Practices: One day a week based on volunteer coaches availability.

Participation
The OKC Rookie League aims to increase baseball participation within the community by partnering with Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation.

The OKC Rookie League is more than just playing baseball. It's also about cultivating our community's next generation of leaders and citizens of tomorrow.
Accessibility
The OKC Rookie League makes baseball accessible to our community's youth by providing equipment and resources.
Youth Education
Through the game of baseball, the OKC Rookie League teaches important lessons, such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
Coaching Information:
The recreation programs are dependent upon volunteer coaches. If you would like to help the program by becoming a coach, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteer coaches are allowed to bring any amount of kids to their team. The remaining roster will be filled by the league director based on a blind draw and the school the children attend.
League operator reserves the right to change dates and location of games. All games cancelled during the regular season due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, will be made up during the season. However, if needed, we can change the park site, day, or time in order to make up all games.
