Pickleball Tournament - Annual 2024

Introducing Prescott Valley's first-ever pickleball tournament! This tournament will be a mixed doubles, group-stage tournament with upper (A), lower(B), and 55+ divisions. Whether you are a beginner, starting to gain some skills, or you've been playing for years, everyone is welcome! Bring the family out to enjoy the park! Don't forget to bring the kiddos to check out the playground and splash pad!

B division entrants should have some understanding of the game but should not be competitive. This division is for people just looking for casual fun. (<3.5)

A division entrants should have a good understanding of the game and an intermediate to advanced skill level. This division is for competitive players. (>3.5)

55+ division entrants should have some understanding of the game but do not possess a high level of agility and stamina. Advanced 55+ players should consider A division.

  • Who can play?: Anyone age 15 or older is eligible for play.
  • Who needs to register?: Only one person from each team needs to register.
  • What is mixed doubles?: Each team should consist of one male and one female player.
  • What is the registration fee?: The cost will be $40/team. Cash or card will be accepted at the time of sign-in.
  • What format will this tournamnet follow?: Group Stage. Each team will be placed in a group. Each group will play round-robin. You will then play through a bracket with seeding based off of round-robin record. Not all teams will advance.
  • How long will the tournament last?: Duration will depend on the number of registrants. 5-6 hours max.
  • Will I need my own equipment?: Balls will be provided. Each player should bring their own paddle, but a limited number of paddles will be available for those who do not have their own.
  • Is this a sanctioned tournament?: No, this will be an unsanctioned, recreational tournament.
  • Will food be provided?: No, please bring your own food if needed. There will be water available at the park.
  • Can I sign up day of?: While pre-registration is strongly recommended, day of registration will be available if the division allows it.
