LEAGUE RULE SUMMARY
Redmond Parks and Recreation Soccer League rules will be consistent with current FIFA rules except for the modifications and clarifications listed in the league rules.  Any situations that arise during a game that are not covered in the league rules are at the discretion of the game official.  Rules are posted on the “Forms/Rules” section of our league website, www.redmond.gov/sports  PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR LEAGUE RULES TO THE GAMES!

MEN’S DIVISION
• All players must be 40+ years old, no exceptions, in the Men’s 40 & Over League.  If you are not 40 years old at the start of the game, you cannot play.  If caught with a player that is not 40 years old or older, league coordinator reserves the right to forfeit the game for the offending team.
• Teams MUST have at least 7 players on the field.  If at any time during a game a team has fewer than 7 players present, the game will be considered a forfeit.
• Slide tackling allowed in the 40+ Division
• Every player on your roster must register for the Adult Sports League Waiver, more info can be found at www.redmond.gov/sports.  You can add/delete from your roster throughout the season, but the rosters will be locked after the 2nd to last game of the season.  Players who are not on your roster will not be able to play with your team without approval from the league coordinator.

UNIFORMS
• Shin guards are REQUIRED.
• Teams are required to wear alike colored shirts.  #’s on the back of the shirts are strongly encouraged.  In the event that two teams have the same color of shirt, it will be the responsibility of the home team to change to another color.
• Goalies must wear a different colored shirt “Goalie Shirt”

HOME TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
The home team is responsible to wear white shirts when there is a duplication of colors by both teams.  The home team must also supply a ball for the game.

City of Redmond parks, fields, and facilities are public spaces without exclusive use. Participant supervision, chaperones, and use of the buddy system in restrooms and throughout the park are encouraged.
