PARENT LIKE A CHAMPION WORKSHOP ™  

Play Like a Champion Today™ (PLACT) incorporates all the stakeholders in Catholic education – athletic administrators, coaches, parents and athletes. The goal is for all members of a parish/school community to work together to make sports the spiritual and character-building experience that it is meant to be. The bottom line: athletes receiving the benefits of the best that Catholic sports have to offer.   

HOW TO REGISTER

To register a child athlete in a CYO Athletics sports offering (Grades K-8), it is mandatory that one parent/guardian register and complete the 1-hour Parent Like a Champion Workshop. This is a one-time requirement. The workshop is now offered virtually online.

Once registered you will be promoted to the home page which includes a welcome and instructions to help you navigate the course.  

There is a full language translation tool in the upper left corner. Click the "Select Language" drop-down to choose from several different language options if needed. 

Once you have completed the course you will receive an automated email with a link to your certificate of completion. 

NOTE: Coaches who have already completed the coaches Play Like a Champion Today Workshop are not required to complete the Parent Like a Champion Workshop. Therefore, if a parent/guardian would prefer to complete the coaches workshop rather than complete the Parent Workshop (in anticipation of coaching at some point in the future), this is an acceptable alternative.
