2026 Youth Cheer - Fall 2026

Welcome to South Walton Seahawks Cheerleading!

South Walton is a member of the regional PYFA that spans from Santa Rosa Beach to Washington county and serves athletes ages 5-12. Throughout the season we will cheer for 8-10 games within the region. Our league is competitive and rich with tradition, and we proudly call this the Seahawks family because we believe in developing strong athletes and lifelong relationships.

 Our team of coaches are eager to introduce a variety of traditional skills that will give each cheerleader the foundation they need and the love of cheer. Cheerleaders can expect to learn fun performances, chants, stunts, tumbling, and more!

Tackle Football Registration 2026 - Fall 2026

SWYFA is a proud member of the regional PYFA league, serving athletes ages 5-12 from Santa Rosa Beach through Washington County. As part of PYFA, we uphold its long-standing and continually evolving standards of ethical conduct, coaching excellence, and certification requirements. These standards ensure that our athletes compete in a structured, disciplined, and development-focused environment.

Our league is competitive and rich with tradition, featuring many long-standing rivalries that make each season both challenging and rewarding. We proudly call this the Seahawks family because we believe in developing not only strong athletes, but strong character, teamwork, and lifelong relationships.

Our season begins in July, and typically goes until November, depending on how teams advance through the playoffs. Practices are held three to four times per week during the preseason and three times per week once games begin. Additional details regarding schedules and important dates will be shared in early summer.

Flag Football 2026 - Winter 2026

Come join us at Helen McCall for another exciting season of FLAG FOOTBALL!!! The season will start mid-January and end in time for Spring Break. Please see our game schedule and important dates below:

Coaches Draft - 1/8

Game 1- 1/23

Game 2- 1/30

Game 3- 2/6

Game 4- 2/13

Game 5- 2/20

Game 6 (Playoff 1)- 2/27

Game 7 (Super Bowl)- 3/6

Coaches will determine practice schedule, and games will be held under the Friday night lights!! There will be 4 age divisions this season: Boomers 5-6, Peewees 7-8, Juniors 9-10, and Seniors 11-12. Following PYFA guidelines, our age groups will be based on players age as of 7/1/2026. Base registration fee is $150 (includes registration fee, hooded shirt, and shorts uniform), with option to upgrade to our Elite Uniform Package (includes registration fee, hooded shirt, shorts, arm sleeve, gloves, bag, and soft-shell helmet). 

We can't make this program what it is without the help of our amazing volunteers. Please sign up as a volunteer if you are interested in coaching one of our Flag teams. We also need help with field prep on Game Day!!!
