Sparkle Squad Tumble & Cheer - Winter I 2026

Ages 3 to Kindergarten

Chair Yoga - Winter 2026

Traditional yoga instructions for both new and continuing students.  This class consists of powerful, flowing postures that promote healthy circulation, and body awareness.  Class ends with a cool down posture.  Hand weights are incorporated into the routine.  FIRST CLASS IS FREE!  Mondays at 1 pm at the Wellsville Community Center.

Students will sit and stand during this class.

$5 per class (can be paid at class) or $30 punch card for 6 classes.

Give your child a summer filled with discovery, friendship and unforgettable adventures.  Designed for ages 5 and older, our program blends classic camp fun with hands-on enrichment, weekly field trips and plenty of outdoor time.  Whether your child loves swimming, crafting, exploring or making new friends they will find something to spark their imagination every day.

All drop off and pick up take place at the Wellsville Elementary School, with camp activities based inside the school gym and surrounding outdoor spaces.

Field trip Thursdays to different locations.

A one time charge of $5 for camp shirt.

Pool days on Monday-Wednesday-Friday

WJRC Summer of Exploring Field Trips - Summer 2026

Day Camp field trips are perfect for children ages 5 & older.  Hours run from 7 am to 5:30 pm.

Wellsville Elementary Gym.

Each Thursday, children will explore a different field trip to different destinations.

Campers will need a sack lunch and water bottle.

Boys Spring Soccer 2026 - Spring 2026

This is a coed soccer league.  This is a recreational league will travel to surrounding towns.  Registration will include a jersey and six games.  Practices will begin in late February or March, weather depending.  Games will be played on Saturday mornings beginning late March.  Age groups range from 1st grade to 6th grade.

ELVIS-Presented by Jeff Bergen - Spring 2026

Field Trips-Spring 2026 - Spring 2026

When school takes a break, WJRC steps in with exciting Fall Field Trips designed to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun! Each trip features a full day of adventure, games, and seasonal activities—perfect for working families looking for a safe, enriching option.  Ages 5 & older. Minimum registration is required.  Program hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Graduation Yard Sign - Spring 2026

Personalize a Graduation yard sign for your graduate!  Email your high resolution picture to wellsville.wjrc@gmail.com.  This is a 24x18 sign with a metal holder.  Deadline to purchase is April 1, 2026.

Low Impact Workout - Annual 2026

Low-impact exercise gets your heart rate up slowly and causes less pressure on your joints than high-impact exercise.

Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 9 am.

Kindergarten Biddy Basketball - Winter 2025

Join our 3 on 3 Kindergarten Biddy Basketball League, designed to foster enjoyment, social interaction, and fundamental skill development.  Practices and Games will be held on Wednesday Evenings beginning in January.  Volunteer coaches are encouraged and will receive a credit for a future complimentary registration to WJRC programming.  All subject to number of participants and gym availability.  

Youth Basketball Winter 2025 - Winter 2025

Join our youth basketball league, students in grades 1-6 have an opportunity to develop fundamental basketball skills, enhance balance, coordination, and endurance within a dynamic sports environment.  Participants will engage in drills focusing on dribbling, passing, catching, shooting, and footwork, while also learning offensive and defensive strategies, cooperation, and teamwork.  Teams will compete in games on Saturday mornings and hold one practice per week.  Volunteer coaches are highly encouraged and will receive a credit for a future complimentary registration to WJRC programming.  Practices will begin in December and Game Play will begin in January.  Teams will be formed using a draft by coaches and WJRC Staff.

ASAP Program(After School Activities Program) Spring 2026 - Annual 2025

The A.S.A.P. at Wellsville Elementary School in partnership with Wellsville Joint Recreation Commission is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of our elementary students and families during after school hours.  The program takes place within a child-centered environment.  This program will offer time to help learn and grow.  Forms can be found on www.wellsvillerec.org under forms and documents tab.  Preschool students who attend the afternoon program, are eligible to attend the A.S.A.P. Program.
