  • Scheduling
    • Date ranges above include playoffs. 16-inch leagues play several double headers to finish the season before the cold temps arrive!
    • Special scheduling requests can be made but are NOT guaranteed.
    • All teams must play at least ONE game at each game time if needed.
    • Game Times:
      • 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 pm. 1-1 count for all games.
      • All teams MUST play a minimum of one 6:30 and one 9:30 pm game (if applicable).
      • Corporate League plays at 5:30 and 6:30 pm ONLY.

 

    • No scheduling accommodations will be accepted after schedules are posted for teams that have players competing in two leagues on the same night.
    • No games played on Labor Day.

 

  • Leagues, Divisions, & Awards
    • 12-inch leagues are classified by level of competition:
      • “B” Leagues:
        • For competitive teams.
        • 8 game regular season with a single elimination playoff.
        • *Prize money* awarded to the regular season champion and the playoff champion.

 

      • “C” and Corporate Leagues:
        • For purely recreational teams looking to have fun.
        • 8 game regular season with a double elimination playoff.
        • Team plaques awarded to the regular season champion and the playoff champion.

 

    • 16-inch leagues are also classified by level of competition, but all will play a single elimination playoff with prize money as the award.

 

      • “A” Leagues – For competitive teams

 

      • “B/C” Leagues – For recreational teams

 

    • Some levels may be split into two or more divisions at the Athletic Department’s discretion.
    • The Athletic Department will review 2023 returning teams, and work with new team captains on correct level placement.
    • Teams who finish the regular season in first place in back-to-back seasons must move up a level.
    • Please note – Summer and Fall are considered separate seasons from each other.

 

  • Rosters & Rules
    • *New Co-Ed 16-inch* - Females have the option to play with a glove. Men do not.
    • 16-inch league will NOT use a strike mat.
    • Rosters may be submitted via email at any time prior to your first game. You can also submit in person at registration or at your first game.
    • At least 70% of participants on team roster must reside within Schaumburg Park District boundaries to be considered a resident team.

 

  • Payment
    • There is a minimum payment of $200 due at the time of registration. This non-refundable deposit reserves your spot in the league.
    • Without the submission of at least a minimum payment, your team’s spot will NOT be reserved.
    • Teams that choose this option must pay in full by the July 28 Registration Deadline. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the league.
