We’re excited to announce the 2026 Adult Summer Softball Leagues on the brand-new synthetic turf infields at Olympic Park! While these improvements will enhance the experience, they present a few minor challenges for the upcoming season. Here’s a quick overview to clarify:

Season Duration

  • All leagues are scheduled to begin the week of June 1 and run through the second week of August, barring any cancellations. (We’re also planning to run a Fall season!)
  • If we can start earlier than planned, we’ll notify captains in advance and only schedule games for teams that can accommodate an earlier start. However, please plan for a start date in the first week of June.
  • Fortunately, there are no planned off days for any league night this season due to holidays or other park district events.

Facility Updates

  • Aside from synthetic turf infields, new features at Olympic Park include:
    • Wireless LED scoreboards with a running clock
    • Upgraded fencing and backstops
    • Improved field conditions, which should result in fewer rainouts!

We appreciate your understanding as we work through these upgrades, and we’re confident these changes will make for a great season. Below, you’ll find all the standard details for the 2026 Adult Summer Softball Leagues. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
