- Registration
- Opens on February 3 and closes April 21.
- Registration can now be done online on our district’s website HERE, as well as in person at any Schaumburg Park District Facility starting February 3.
- If you have issues with the online registration, please call Kevin O’Donnell at 847-534-3991 and registration can be done over the phone.
- An FAQ/instructions document for online registration is attached to this email.
- To help captains navigate through the website to find the desired night and league, use the Activity Code when searching for your league.
- Payment
- There is a minimum payment of $200 due at the time of registration. This non-refundable deposit reserves your spot in the league.
- Without the submission of at least a minimum payment, your team’s spot will NOT be reserved.
- Teams that choose this option must pay in full by the April 21st Registration Deadline. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the league.
- Leagues, Divisions, & Prize Money
- Leagues:
- Leagues are classified by level of competition:
- “A” Leagues – For highly competitive teams.
- “B” Leagues – For competitive teams.
- “C” Leagues – For teams that are purely recreational, not intended for high level of competition.
- “D” Leagues (NEW) – For teams that are either new to the game, have previously participated in the "C" league without success, and/or teams focused on enjoying a recreational experience.
- Some leagues may be split into two or more divisions at the Athletic Department’s discretion.
- All leagues play a 10-game regular season followed by a single elimination playoff. The number of playoff teams will be determined by the final number of teams per league/division.
- All leagues will have the batter start with a 1-1 count.
- 12-inch and 14-inch leagues will use a strike mat behind the plate. 16-inch leagues will not.
- Divisions:
- The Athletic Department reserves the right to move returning teams up or down a level based on their position in the previous Summer season's standings.
- We will review 2024 returning teams, and work with captains on correct placement if/when needed.
- Teams who finish the regular season in 1st Place in back-to-back seasons must move up to the next level of competition (Summer and Fall are considered separate seasons from each other).
- IMPORTANT NOTICE – Teams may NOT share players in the same division. Players may play on more than one team on a night as long as they are in different leagues or divisions.
- Prize Money:
- ALL leagues and divisions will have prize money for the 1st and 2nd place teams of the regular season, as well as the playoff champion.
- 1st Place regular season - $400
- 2nd Place regular season - $225
- Playoff champion - $275
