Guidlelines

This premier facility offers 24 well-maintained outdoor courts, ideal for players of all levels. Evening lighting ensures the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, while clean, spacious indoor restrooms provide comfort and convenience. Reliable Wi-Fi covers the entire complex, keeping guests connected throughout their visit. At the heart of it all is a shaded pavilion-perfect for gathering with friends, relaxing between matches, or hosting memorable events.

General Facility Guidelines

  • If your booking is in the morning, all players must wait until 7 am to begin play due to a local noise ordinance.
  • You may only use the courts assigned in your rental agreement. Players must not enter any other courts under any circumstances.
  • It is crucial to adhere to your scheduled arrival and departure times, as other reservations may follow yours. If you require an extension, please notify us as soon as possible so we can adjust your billing accordingly.
  • Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the facility premises.
  • To preserve the quality of the courts, the following items are not permitted on the playing surfaces: food, sunflower seeds, gum, tobacco products, non-pickleball equipment, or similar items.
  • We kindly ask that all trash be properly disposed of at the conclusion of your reservation.
  • Vendors, including food trucks, are prohibited unless expressly approved in advance by Apex Park and Recreation District.
  • Animals are not permitted within the facility gates, except for approved service animals.
  • Private lessons may not be conducted without prior approval from Apex PRD. Unauthorized instruction is considered private gain on public property and is prohibited. Failure to comply may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the facility.
  • Please note that any violations of these guidelines may result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund.

Court Availability (April-October)

  • Monday-Friday, 7-11 am.
    • Participants who are not in an Apex PRD program will need either a court reservation, a Tier 1 or Tier 2 pass, a punch card, an insurance-based membership, or a $5 fee per person.
    • Courts 1-4 are always designated for insurance-based memberships and drop-in play. Drop-in play is organized rotational play.
    • Limited paddle stacking courts will be offered on select weekdays.
    • 16-20 courts are always designated for Apex PRD programming, including, but not limited to, leagues, lessons and mixers.
    • If no Apex PRD programming is scheduled, courts will be available for reservation or open play.
  • Monday-Friday, 11 am-5:30 pm and 8:30-9:30 pm.
    • Free and open play, pending court availability.
  • Weekends, 7 am-9:30 pm.
    • Free and open play, pending court availability.
    • Please note that several weekend tournaments are scheduled, and court availability may be limited.
    • Court reservations are highly recommended for morning hours.
    • Limited paddle stacking courts will be offered on select weekends.

Court Availability (November-March)

  • No outdoor Apex PRD programming is offered.
  • Court reservations are not available.
  • Free and open play, pending weather and court availability.
  • Monday-Friday: 7 am-8 pm.
  • Weekends: 8 am-8 pm.

Fees

  • Court Rental Fee (individuals; courts can be reserved online up to 14 days in advance).
    • Res. $11 (non-res. $17) per hour per court.
    • Courts can be reserved beyond 14 days in advance, but the private rental and special event pricing will apply.
  • Court Rental Fee (private rentals and special events).
    • Res. $16 (non-res. $21) per hour per court.
  • Flat rate pricing (renting the entire facility for 10 or more hours).
    • Res. $3,500 per day (non-res. $4,500 per day).

Viewing Your Reservations Online

  • All reservation details are now available through your Apex PRD account.
  • After logging in, you can view all your bookings and court rentals in one place.
  • You can view your full schedule, including dates, times, and the courts you reserved.

Real-Time Court Calendar

Court Rentals

  • If you reserved courts through Apex PRD, your reservation on the calendar would appear with your first name and last initial (e.g., John D. Private Rental).
  • If you reserved courts online independently, the calendar would display only your initials for privacy.
  • Individual court reservation signs will no longer be used.

If Others Are on Your Reserved Court

  • If you arrive and find players on your reserved court, kindly let them know you have a reservation.
  • You may show your booking confirmation from your Apex PRD account or reference the online calendar as verification.
  • If you are playing on a reserved court, please be courteous and leave promptly when the reservation arrives.

Outdoor Bathrooms

  • April-October: Monday-Sunday, 7 am-9 pm.
  • November-March: Monday-Sunday, 7 am-8 pm.

Court Lights

  • April-October: Monday-Sunday, lights will turn off at 9:45 pm. Please note that the courts close at 9:30 pm.
  • November-March: Monday-Sunday, lights will turn off at 8:15 pm. Please note that the courts close at 8 pm.

Parking Lot Lights

  • April-October: Monday-Sunday, lights are on 7 pm-7 am.
  • November-March: Monday-Sunday, lights are on 4 pm-7 am.
