Mini and Youth Baseball

Enrollment for the upcoming season will begin in January 2025.

Description:

  • T-ball is a 1-hour per week commitment meant to serve as an introduction to the sport. 
  • Coach pitch is a 90-minute per week commitment meant to also serve as an introduction to the sport. 
  • For T-ball (ages 3-5), a 30-minute team practice focusing on fundamentals is followed by a 30-minute game against another Apex team. Practices and games take place on Wednesdays.
  • For coach pitch (ages 6-7), a 30-minute team practice focusing on fundamentals is followed by a 60-minute game against another Apex team. Practices and games take place on Wednesdays.
  • Youth baseball (ages 8-9) is a 2-day per week commitment. A 60-minute practice will be offered on Tuesdays in addition to a 90-minute game on Thursdays. 
  • Register as an individual and be placed on a coed team.

Fees:

  • T-Ball: Res. $135 (non-res. $165)
  • Coach Pitch: Res. $155 (non-res. $190)
  • Youth Baseball: Res. $180 (non-res. $220)

Leagues:

  • Ages 3-5 (T-ball)
  • Ages 6-7 (coach pitch)
  • Ages 8-9 (youth baseball)

Day, Time, and Location:

  • T-ball teams practice and play on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm at Pioneer Park (12100 82nd Ave., Arvada, CO 80005) or Harold D. Lutz Sports Complex (10664 W 58th Ave., Arvada, CO 80002).
  • Coach pitch teams practice and play on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 pm Pioneer Park (12100 82nd Ave., Arvada, CO 80005) or Harold D. Lutz Sports Complex (10664 W 58th Ave., Arvada, CO 80002).
  • Youth baseball teams play on Thursdays from 5:30-7 pm at Harold D. Lutz Sports Complex (10664 W 58th Ave., Arvada, CO 80002). Practices will occur at Oberon Middle School (7300 Quail St., Arvada, CO 80005) on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm or 6-7 pm.

Equipment:

  • A t-shirt jersey is included with registration for all leagues. 
  • For T-ball and coach pitch leagues, baseball pants, plastic/molded cleats, and a batting helmet are recommended, but not required. Players must bring their own glove.
  • For T-ball and coach pitch leagues, Apex will provide teams with balls, bats, batting tees, and throw down bases. 
  • For youth baseball leagues, players must bring their own bat, glove, and helmet. Apex will provide teams with practice balls, game balls, and catcher's equipment.
