ADAPTIVE BASEBALL - Spring 2025

Gatesville Adaptive Sports aims to provide outdoor, sport, and recreational experiences for children with abilities/disabilities.

The goal is to help enrich and transform the lives of children with abilities/disabilities through involvement, sports, and recreation.

Ages 5-22 welcome.

Texas Teenage Boys Divisions

Note: Texas Teenage passed some major rule changes that have a huge impact on our league.  These rules changes may not benefit you in an obvious manner, but the rules changes were made to ensure every TTA affiliate in the state will now draft teams and and return teams the exact same way.  To view these changes, click here. (Especially if you plan to coach!) 

(Please double check that birthdate and full legal name entered on Team Sideline matches player's birth certificate information.)  It is very important that the name you register the player under matches what is on his birth certificate that you are able to provide if advancing to District.

League Age - How old the player will be on August 31st of 2025

T-Ball (6U) Max age is 6 [Born between 9/1/18 - 8/31/20]

Coach Pitch (8U) Max age is 8 [Born between 9/1/16 - 8/31/18]

Kid Pitch (10U Tight Base) Max age is 10 [Born between 9/1/14 - 8/31/16]

Kid Pitch (12U Open Base) Max age is 12 [Born between 9/1/12 - 8/31/14]

Kid Pitch (14U Open Base) Max age is 14 [Born between 9/1/10  - 8/31/12]

PRE TBALL 2025 - Spring 2025

Summer Lifeguard Registration - Summer 2025

Before April 25th - Fill out and submit a City of Gatesville Job Application to mbailey@gatesvilletx.com.  Register for Lifeguard class by clicking "Register Now" at the bottom of this page, even if you hold an active certiication. 

April 28th- American Red Cross Lifeguard prerequisites at the City Pool beginning at 5:30PM. 

Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations:

Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: 150 yards, 2 minute treading then 50 yards.

Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: Brick Dive

May 1st - You will receive an email from your American Red Cross Instructor to begin completing the online portion of your Lifeguard training.  You will be tested on these skills 

May 5th - May 11th - In person lifeguard certification classes and skill demonstration.

May 12th - Formal job offerings issued.

May 24th - Pool Opens
