City of Gatesville’s Vintage Market & City-Wide Garage Sale - Summer 2025

Market Vendor Application

9 am – 3 pm
Vendor move-in will be between 12 pm until 6 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025

Indoor Spaces are 10X10ft and include one 6ft table and 2 chairs, which will be set up for you. You may also bring your own display furnishings.

Barn Spaces are 10X10ft, under a cover and on a concrete floor. No furniture is provided (bring your tables, shelves, chairs).

Trunk Sale spaces are 10X20, in the parking lot next to the barn and allow vendors to sell from the back of a vehicle with room for a table.

Food Truck spaces will be in the parking area next to the barn.

ADAPTIVE BASEBALL - Spring 2025

Gatesville Adaptive Sports aims to provide outdoor, sport, and recreational experiences for children with abilities/disabilities.

The goal is to help enrich and transform the lives of children with abilities/disabilities through involvement, sports, and recreation.

Ages 5-22 welcome.

(Please double check that birthdate and full legal name entered on Team Sideline matches player's birth certificate information.)  It is very important that the name you register the player under matches what is on their birth certificate that you are able to provide if advancing to District.

T-Ball (6U) Max age is 6 [Born between 9/1/18 - 8/31/20]

Coach Pitch (8U) Max age is 8 [Born between 9/1/16 - 8/31/18]

Kid Pitch (10U Tight Base) Max age is 10 [Born between 9/1/14 - 8/31/16]

Kid Pitch (12U Open Base) Max age is 12 [Born between 9/1/12 - 8/31/14]

Summer Lifeguard Registration - Summer 2025

Before April 25th - Fill out and submit a City of Gatesville Job Application to mbailey@gatesvilletx.com.  Register for Lifeguard class by clicking "Register Now" at the bottom of this page, even if you hold an active certiication. 

April 28th- American Red Cross Lifeguard prerequisites at the City Pool beginning at 5:30PM. 

Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations:

Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: 150 yards, 2 minute treading then 50 yards.

Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: Brick Dive

May 1st - You will receive an email from your American Red Cross Instructor to begin completing the online portion of your Lifeguard training.  You will be tested on these skills 

May 5th - May 11th - In person lifeguard certification classes and skill demonstration.

May 12th - Formal job offerings issued.

May 24th - Pool Opens
