Mother/Son Super "Bowl" 2025 - Winter I 2025

All mothers and their sons are welcomed to attend a night of black light bowling at Bowlaway Lanes. The event will include 1 round of bowling, pizza, games, and a photo booth. The price will be $40 per mother/son combo with any additional son or mother being $15. Feel free to dress to the theme Super "Bowl"! Wear your favorite team's jersey!

*Event time is 5:00-7:45, families will pick 5:00-6:15 or 6:30-7:45time slots to begin bowling round (everyone will be able to bowl 1.25 hours)

Youth Baseball 2025 (1st-7th Grade) - Summer 2025

Youth Baseball for 1st-7th Grade - Season will tentatively run Mid April through July 1st depending on your team and coach.  Park & Rec. teams will have both home and away games. We will try to keep away games within 45 minutes from New Hampton.  Our goal is to have one game and one practice per week once games begin.

Tournament vs. Park & Rec. Teams - 1st/2nd grade teams will be strictly Park & Rec.  3rd-7th grade teams may have tournament teams if the # of registrations allows.  A tournament team is different in that there is more of a commitment (weekend tournaments, extra costs, more practices, no guarantee of play time).  If your child wishes to be on a tournament team, there may be try outs.  If your child wishes to be on a Park & Rec. team only, he/she will be assigned to a team once all registrations are in, and will be notified of which team they're on by their coach. Please take the time to think about which team best fits your child's needs and abilities. Both teams need to be registered through the Park & Rec. department

Once teams are split, you will be contacted directly from your coach on your season's schedule.

Spring Soccer 2025 - Spring 2025

The New Hampton Parks & Recreation Department along with the Northeast Iowa Soccer League and the Iowa Soccer Association are here to offer recreational youth soccer for kids born 2009-2017.

Tentative Dates: Week of March 25 - June 1

*Practices during the week, games on Saturdays*

Games:  Will be held Saturdays, some home, some away (U8 will have the option to travel or not travel).

Fee: $60 for (U8 Traveling & Up) $35 for U8 for Non-Travel

**In order to travel for U8 you must have a birth year of 2016 and have been in Soccer for 2 seasons.

For any child wanting to play up- Please talk to the Park and Rec director, it must be approved by the director prior to moving the child up. Requests to move up after Monday, February 24th will not be accepted.

Registration Needs: If you have never been in our soccer program before, we will need a copy of your birth certificate. We will need a picture for your player's pass (everyone needs to provide a picture this season, past participants and new!)

**If you played soccer in the Fall, then you will be using your same soccer jersey. If not, we will need a size for a new one. If you had a jersey this Fall but need another one, this will be an additional cost of $20.00.
