Mother/Son Bowling Party 2026 - Winter I 2026

A fun night of black light bowling at Bowlaway Lanes. The event will include 1 round of bowling, pizza, games, and a goody bag. The price will be $40 per mother/son combo with any additional son or mother being $15. Feel free to celebrate and dress as your favorite super hero!

*Date: Saturday, March 14th

*Event time is 5:00-7:45, families will pick 5:00-6:15 or 6:30-7:45 time slots to begin bowling round (everyone will be able to bowl 1.25 hours)

*Ages 3 - 14

Father/Daughter Dinner & Dance 2026 - Winter 2026

This fun event is for any father/daughter (grandfathers, uncles, caregivers, etc.-daughter must be 3 yrs. or older) looking to have a great time and make beautiful memories!

When: Friday, February 13th 

*Get your professional pictures taken (if you choose) by Picture Perfect Photography anytime between 5:00-6:00 pm (extra cost). Meal will be served at 6:00 pm and a dance with professional DJ will follow until 8:00 pm!

Where: Pub at the Pinicon (2205 S. Linn Ave. New Hampton)

FEE: $40 per father/daughter, $15 for additional Dad or Family member, $15 per additional daughter. Cost includes meal (one topping pizza buffet) and entertainment.

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, January 28th 

*This is a formal, so please come in your best dressed!

Youth Baseball 2026 (1st-7th Grade) - Summer 2026

Youth Baseball for 1st-7th Grade - Season will tentatively run Mid April through July 1st depending on your team and coach.  Park & Rec. teams will have both home and away games. We will try to keep away games within 45 minutes from New Hampton.  Our goal is to have one game and one practice per week once games begin.

Once teams are split, you will be contacted directly from your coach on your season's schedule.

If you're interested in coaching a team this year, please contact the Park & Rec. office.

We are still actively working on selecting jerseys for the 2026 Baseball/Softball season, for now, please select which size of shirt your child currently wears. Once we have everything solidified, we will send out a size chart and you are more than welcome to make changes then.

Spring Soccer 2026 ( I was NOT out for Fall Soccer 2025) - Spring I 2026

The New Hampton Parks & Recreation Department along with the Northeast Iowa Soccer League and the Iowa Soccer Association are here to offer recreational youth soccer for kids born 2011-2019.

Tentative Dates: Week of March 25 - June 1

*Practices during the week, games on Saturdays*

Games:  Will be held Saturdays, some home, some away (U8 will have the option to travel or not travel).

Fee: $60 for (U8 Traveling & Up) $35 for U8 for Non-Travel

**In order to travel for U8 you must  have been in Soccer for 1 season.

For any child wanting to play up- Please talk to the Park and Rec director, it must be approved by the director prior to moving the child up. Requests to move up after Monday, February 24th will not be accepted.

Registration Needs: If you have never been in our soccer program before, We will need a picture for your player's pass (everyone needs to provide a picture this season, past participants and new!)

Spring Soccer 2026 (I WAS out for Fall Soccer 2025) - Spring I 2026

If you were out for Fall Soccer in 2025, you will use the same jersey for Spring Soccer. If you cannot find your jersey or need a different size, please contact the Park and Rec office to order a new one. A new jersey will cost 20.00.
