Welcome to Commerce Chargers Youth Football & Cheer

Founded in 2008, the Commerce Chargers Youth Football and Cheer Association is a competitive and spirited program that offers an all-inclusive experience to cheerleaders, players and their families. We are a non-profit organization comprised of four football teams and cheer squads based in Commerce Township. The Chargers are associated with Southeast Michigan Youth Football Association (SMYFA). All Charger home games are played at Walled Lake Central High School. Chargers have become a premier community program founded on sportsmanship, competitive excellence and family. By engaging in numerous community events (i.e. parades, parent parties, and various family-inclusive gatherings) and a partnership with the Walled Lake Central and Northern High School Athletics Programs, the Commerce Chargers go beyond the commitment to player development and education by creating positive life experiences and memories for all.
