President

Freddie Peterkin

"Freddie Peterkin Jr. was born and raised in Dillon, South Carolina, where he graduated from high school and began his football journey. His experience in the sport spans from recreational football through the collegiate level, providing him with a strong foundation in both athletic development and team culture.

With more than 10 years of coaching experience, Freddie is deeply committed to mentoring young athletes and fostering growth on and off the field. Since 2024, he has proudly served the Rosemont community through his involvement with the Rosemont Jr. Wolverines and now leads the program as President. In this role, he is dedicated to building a structured, disciplined, and positive environment for youth athletes and their families. In addition to his leadership with the junior program, Freddie serves as the Offensive Line and Defensive Line Coach at Rosemont High School, where he emphasizes fundamentals, accountability, and character development. His passion for football and community continues to drive his mission of developing the next generation of student-athletes."

"As a single mom, it’s important to me to be involved in positive spaces where children are encouraged to grow, stay active, and believe in themselves. Serving as the Team parent Coordinator for the Rosemont Junior Wolverines allows me to help create opportunities for kids to do something positive, build confidence, and succeed both on and off the field. I’m passionate about supporting our athletes, families, and coaches while helping foster a strong, encouraging team environment where every child feels valued and celebrated."

"I first became involved with the team when they started out as "The Sacramento Braves", and it was so nice seeing my granddaughter be a part of something positive. So, for the last two years she's been a cheerleader for the Braves/Rosemont Jr Wolverines. She has aged out, but I love this team, and the president, and his wife so much that I want to continue on and to be a part of something positive in this community."
