Alliance-SWB Early Bird - Spring 2026

Refund Policy - 0 Games Played = 75%, 1 Game Played = 50%, 2 or More Games Played = No Refund

--The home team is determined by a coin toss during pool play. Once your team is seeded, the higher seed is the home team during bracket play. This also includes Championship Games.

--Pitching Limitations: Daily Limit - 9-12U is 75 Pitches Max 13/14U - 85 Pitches Max, pitcher may finish batter if exceeding pitch max. (Coaches are expected to prioritize player safety)

--Time Limits: No new inning after 1:30

--Innings Played: 11/12 and under games will consist of 6 innings. 13/14 will consist of 7 innings (time permitting).

--Pitching Distance and Base Lengths:

9/10u (46’ pitching | 60’ bases)

11/12u (50’ pitching | 70’ bases)

13/14u (54’ pitching | 80’ bases)

9/10U - No lead offs, runner may steal when the ball crosses the plate from a pitched ball. 

--Malicious Contact: At any base is forbidden (umpire’s discretion).

--Mercy Rules:

12 after 3 innings (home team bats only if behind).

10 runs after 4 innings (home team bats only if behind).

8 runs after 5 innings (home team bats only if behind).

9/10U - Max 7 Runs per inning

Other age groups have no run limits.

--Bat Rules:

9-12u Swing what you bring.

13/14u Drop 8, Drop 5, BBCOR

--Courtesy Runner: You may use a courtesy runner for a pitcher or catcher at any time. This must be someone from your bench OR if you’re roster batting it would be your last recorded out.

--Reporting Scores: We ask that teams have GameChanger up and running and to provide GameChanger Team Name to opponent and tournament staff.

--Re-Entering: Once a pitcher is removed from the mound, he cannot go back in to pitch in that game.

--Point System For Tournament: (2) points for a win, one (1) point for a tie.

Tie Breakers; Wins-Loss Record, Head to Head, Fewest Runs Allowed, Highest Total Run Differential, Runs Scored, Coin Flip

--Substitution: May substitute freely.

--Player Count: Team can play with as few as 8 players without taking an automatic out in the batting order. Anything lower than 8 is an automatic out in the batting order. An injured player can be removed without an automatic out unless less than 8 players.
