City of Star Sports Program – Adult Volleyball Registration

Join the City of Star Adult Volleyball Program, a fun and flexible pickup-style, self-organizing league designed for players of all skill levels. This program runs every two months and provides a casual, community-driven environment where participants can show up, form teams, and enjoy open-play volleyball.

Schedule & Location

March 9th- May 8th

• Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
• Time: 7:00 PM – 10:15 PM
• Location: City of Star 
• Duration: New session every two months

Gym space will be made available during the above times for all registered participants. At least one full court with a volleyball net will be set up for play. If participant numbers continue to grow, the program may expand to include additional days during the week.

Participant Responsibilities

To keep this program accessible and community-driven, all participants are required to:

• Help set up and break down equipment each night
• Leave the gym exactly as it was found (“no footprint left behind”)

This helps ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and ready for other community programs.

Amenities

The gym provides:

• Bathroom access
• Water fountains
• Vending machines
• One volleyball net and court (with potential for more days as participation grows)

How It Works

This is a pickup-style adult league, meaning:

• No fixed teams (officially)
• Players self-organize matches
• Casual, inclusive, and fun play environment
• Show up, warm up, form teams, and play as many games as time allows

Adult Soccer - Spring I 2026

Join the Adult Soccer League at Hunters Creek!

 Looking for fun and excitement this summer? Join our adult soccer league! Games are held every Thursday from 7 PM until dark at Hunters Creek, starting March 12 and running through October22.

Who can join?
Everyone aged 16 and older is welcome! Whether you're a seasoned player or want to try something new, this league is for you.

What to expect:

• Team Formation: Participants will be divided into teams each week.
• Active Fun: Enjoy playing soccer in a friendly and competitive environment.
• Socialize: Meet new people and make friends while staying active.

This is a FREE event! Please register so we can keep you updated on any critical updates.

Adult Coed Spring Softball - Spring I 2026

Join the Adult Softball League (18+ Only)!

Games: Sundays starting at 2 PM

Season: Begins on March 15 with 9 thrilling games, culminating in a tournament on May 24 for the top 4 teams. No Games on Mother's Day or Easter Sunday. 

Format: Coed team rostering format, Men rules with standard ball, 3 women 7 Men on field.

Registration: Individual Registration COST is $50.00 and if you don’t have a team, we’ll place you on one.

Team Registration: Team Registration COST is $500.00 for the whole team; all fees are included. 

This is a recreational “D” league, and the tournament champions will be awarded the prestigious Star championship ring.

NFL Flag Football - Spring 2026

Youth Flag Football – Spring 2026

Season Details

• No draft: players remain on Fall 2025 teams, with new players filling open spots.
• Games are Star vs Star ONLY.
• Practices Start: Week of March 9th
• Games Start: Week of March 30th
• Games End: Week of May 4th
• All Star Game: Thursday May 14th 

Practices

• Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays Starting at 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM.
• One Practice per week 

Games

• Mondays or Wednesdays Starting at 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM.
• One Game per week.

Uniforms

• All Teams will wear NFL Flag uniforms this season.
• NFL Uniform ($40): Required for all players that did not purchase one during the Fall 2025 season.
• Returning Fall 2025 Players (2012-2015): No uniform purchase required—confirm fit during registration.

Important Notes

• No coach or friend requests at this time for participants.

Soccer - Spring 2026

Recreational Soccer Program for kids born between 2009 and 2022.

NOTE: No draft for spring season. Returning players from fall 2025 will remain on the same team. New players will be added to a team to fill available spots. 

Practices (5:30pm or 6:30pm):

• 2022 - Tues @ 5:30
• 2020/21 Boys - Wed or Thur

Games:

• 2011-2021: Games will be played on Saturdays with possible makeup games on Fridays.
• 2022: Games are held during practices.

• Special Note for 2011-2015 Born Kids:

  • Travel for 50% of games to Treasure Valley locations.
  • All other ages play in Star.

Uniforms:

• 2022: Star Recreation Soccer T-Shirt (included in registration fee)
• 2011-2021: $40 MLS/Go Team uniform (includes jersey, shorts, & socks). Now required for all players in these age groups.
