Playtime in the Park - Summer 2026

CRAFTS, TOYS, AND PLAYTIME IN THE PARKS ON WEDNESDAYS JUNE 3 - JULY 22, 10 AM - 12PM

KIDS AGES 3-10, MUST be accompanied by an adult

$5 PER CHILD PER WEEK

Registration is required by Monday each week.

Summer Day Camp 2026 - Summer 2026

SUMMER DAY CAMP at Gordon Moore Park

Open to boys and girls who will be entering grades 1-6 in fall 2026

Drop-off and pick-up at the Muenstermann bldg. 

Half-day camp 9a-12p

Weeks available: June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, June 29-July 2 (no camp on July 3), July 6-10, July13-17

Fee: $45 per week

Additional fees may apply for field trips.

Fall Soccer 2026 - Fall 2026

FALL SOCCER for boys and girls, Birthdate range 9/1/11-8/31/21 (Grades K-9)

 10 Games in September & October, plus FREE training sessions with experienced soccer coaches & players TBD.

Teams may be coed, depending on total registrations by division.  

GAMES: Played at Gordon Moore Park, main park fields and north side fields.  Practices are scheduled by coaches about 2-4 weeks before games begin. 

EQUIPMENT: Team shirts provided. Players must wear shin guards covered by socks during practices and games!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE 8/2/26 – FEE     $55 Alton resident   $60 Non-resident     Late fee $10               

You may also register in person. Office hours are 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday, except for holidays.  Make checks payable to:  Alton Parks & Rec.  Players registering after the deadline will be put on a wait list & assigned to teams that need players the most.

Micro Soccer, ages 3-5 - Fall 2026

GROUP INSTRUCTION BY ELITE FT

Learn to play soccer program with fun skills, drills, and mini-games. Open to boys and girls ages 3-5.

Dates: Sundays, September 14, 21, 28 and October 5

Time: 3 yr olds 4:00-4:45 pm (must turn 3 by 9/14/25, parent participation required)

 4-5 yr olds 5:00-5:45 pm

Location: Gordon Moore Park, North side Micro Soccer fields (north of Hwy 140)

Fee: $35

Equipment needed: Size 3 soccer ball clearly marked for identification, shin guards covered by socks, and tennis shoes (NO cleats!).
