Adult Softball

Ages 18+

Description:

• Come join us for some team fun on the ball fields. Softball is a 10v10 league. We offer both coed and men's leagues.

Fees and Guaranteed Games:

• Spring Season: $390; 5 games guaranteed plus playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.
• Summer Season: $750 per team; 12 games guaranteed plus playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.
• Fall: $525 per team; 7 games guaranteed plus playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.

Divisions:

• Class D Upper: Teams play at a high level. At least 75% of players have above-average skills, with the remaining players having average skills. All players have a solid understanding of the game. These teams want to win.
• Class D Lower: Teams have no more than 50% of players that have above-average skills. The remaining players are average and/or less skilled. Teams want to win but are not competitive enough to play in the upper league.
• Class E Recreational: Teams have no more than 25% of players that have above-average skills. Most players are new and/or are still learning the game. Teams don’t care if they win and want to have fun.
• Teams who have won or placed in the top 2 previous lower recreational leagues may be moved to the upper division the following season.
• Apex Park and Recreation District has the right to determine the placement of teams.
• Leagues may be combined if there are not enough teams to be run independently.

Scheduled Games:

• Monday: Men’s Lower, Men’s Upper
• Tuesday: Coed Lower, Coed Upper
• Wednesday: Men’s Lower, Men’s Upper, Coed Lower, Coed Upper
• Thursday: Men’s Lower, Men’s Upper, Coed Lower, Coed Upper
• Friday: Coed Lower, Coed Upper
• Sunday: Coed Lower, Coed Upper

Seasons:

• Spring (March-April)
• Summer (May-August)
• Fall (August-October)

Equipment:

• Matching jerseys are recommended for league play but are not required.
• However, teams must have shirts in the same color.

Game Time and Locations:

• Games are played Monday-Friday starting at 6:15 pm.
• Games are also played on Sunday starting at 2 pm.
• Games are played at Harold D. Lutz Sports Complex, 10664 W 58th Ave, Arvada, CO 80002.
