Apex Adult Hockey League

Description:

  • The Apex Adult Hockey League (AAHL) is a competitive, non-check, coed, in-house league at the Apex Center Ice Arena (13150 West 72nd Avenue, Arvada, CO 80005). The league has multiple divisions (descriptions below) for ages 18+ with 3 seasons annually: fall (September), winter (January), and spring/summer (May). All divisions play 10 regular season games concluding with single elimination playoffs.

Adult Hockey Divisions:

  • Low-C: Designed for intermediate and experienced players. This is the top league at Apex. Games are played on Tuesday nights. 
  • High-D: Designed for recreational and intermediate players. Games are played on Monday nights and some Wednesday nights. 
  • Low-D: Designed for beginner-level players. Games are played on Monday nights and some Tuesday nights. 
  • Over-40: Designed for players of all abilities over the age of 40. Games are played on Sunday nights. 

Registration Priority:

  1. Currently registered teams in good standing who want to remain in their current division. 
  2. Currently registered teams in good standing who want to move divisions. 
  3. Outside inquiries will then be considered. 

Schedule and Refunds:

  • The league schedule is subject to change. 
  • League fees are non-refundable. 

Please do not register a team without prior approval of the Apex Hockey Coordinator.
