Adult Pickleball

Pickleball Programming:

  • 3 and Me: Bring two friends of similar skill level and enjoy a dynamic one-hour session with an instructor. You'll play in a game-like setting while learning strategies and refining your skills.
  • Boot Camp: This four-hour intensive session is perfect for new players. It focuses on building strong fundamentals, improving technique, and boosting confidence on the court.
  • Cardio Pickleball: Get your heart pumping in this fast-paced, 70-minute session. Designed for those who want a fun workout while playing pickleball. Expect quick rallies and nonstop movement.
  • Learn to Play Pickleball: New to the game? This 90-minute introductory session covers the rules, basic techniques, and gameplay essentials to get you started confidently.
  • Private Lessons: Receive personalized instruction tailored to your needs. Choose between certified or non-certified instructors to help you reach your goals at your own pace.
  • Skills and Drills: Focus on the core elements of the game; serving, receiving, positioning, and more. These sessions run 1.5 hours each and are offered in 2-3 session formats for deeper skill development.
  • Specialized Pickleball Lessons: Hone specific aspects of your game in targeted one-hour sessions. Topics include serves and returns, dinking and dropping, volleys and dinks, etc.
  • Location: Marquardt-Miles Outdoor Pickleball Courts at Simms Street Recreation Center, 11706 W. 82nd Ave., Arvada, CO 80005

Pickleball Leagues:

  • Spring
  • Summer
  • Fall
  • 8 weeks

Pickleball Mixers:

  • Mixers offered Monday through Friday. Women's, men's and coed offered. Sign up individually.
  • Adv-Beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels offered. Mixers will run 8 weeks.
  • Play 10-minute games, then rotate and switch partners every game. Mixers last 2 hours.
  • Note: You are responsible for finding a sub at the level of the mixer. Pickleball attendant has a sub list. Please provide your sub, your first and last name, and the level you are playing.

Pickleball Tournaments:

  • Apex Foundation Memorial Tournament (Memorial Day Weekend)
  • Apex Boos and Paddles Tournament (October)
