Softball - Spring 2023

We are a girls softball non-profit organization offering softball to girls ages 4-14 in Ambridge, Baden, Conway, Freedom, Economy, Harmony Township, South Heights and other communities!

Our goal is to encourage all young girls to have fun while learning teamwork, sportsmanship and the game of softball. Not only do we offer a spring softball season, we also offer summer tournament play, fall ball, pitching lessons and indoor winter training sessions.

  • When does the season start?: Typically, games begin the last week of April and continue until mid-June. Practices and open gyms may be held as early as January, depending on availability of an indoor facility.
  • Can I volunteer to coach?: Absolutely! Coaching at the youth level is a tremendously rewarding experience. If you would like to volunteer as a coach, please register on our website. No experience necessary!
  • What clearances do I need to coach?: Beaver County Youth Softball league rules require all coaches to have clearances on file, including a PA State Police Background check, Childline Clearance and Concussions Training.
  • Where will practices and games be held?: All practices and home games will take place at the Ambridge Area Junior High complex. Away games will be held throughout Beaver County.
  • How many games will be scheduled?: Ages 8U and up will be scheduled for 10-15 games per season.
  • Do I need to purchase uniforms?: All players 8U and up will receive a team shirt and socks. Black softball pants and cleats will be required to complete their uniform. 6U players will receive a team shirt only (cleats are
  • Do I need to purchase equipment?: All players will need their own glove and fielding mask. The league will have bats, catchers gear and helmets available for use.
  • Can I sponsor a team?: Yes! We rely heavily on the generosity of our sponsors to keep our registration costs affordable for all players and their families.
