Metcalfe Park
Situated near the Old Town District, Metcalfe Park provides a welcoming space to enjoy gatherings and celebrate Fountain’s strong sense of community. The park’s distinctive gazebo invites families and friends to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings, while a variety of amenities—including playgrounds, skate park, pump track, dog park, and horse riding stables—offer activities and fun for all ages.
Park Season:
Metcalfe Park is open year-round; however, facilities are closed from October 1 through April 1 for the winter season.
Party Pavilions & Gazebo Rentals:
Party pavilions and the gazebo are available for parties and special events from April 1 through October 1, weather permitting.
Special Events:
Events that include fundraising, are open to the public, charge an admission fee, exceed 150 participants, or involve the sale of food, services, or merchandise are classified as Special Events and require additional permitting. For more information, please call 719-322-2030.
Nonprofit & Military Discount:
Nonprofit and military organizations may qualify for a 10% discount on facility rentals. To request a discount code, email your nonprofit certificate or contact us using a military-issued email address at parks@fountaincolorado.org. Discount codes are issued via email during normal business hours.
Facility Reservation Update: 2026
To improve scheduling and allow proper setup and cleanup between events, all facility reservations are now single 5-hour and 30-minute time blocks, which include setup and cleanup time.
This change ensures smooth transitions between reservations and availability for all users. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
