Community Night in The Park - Summer 2026

Community Night in the Park is a family-friendly event that brings together local nonprofit organizations and City of Fountain departments to showcase their programs and services available to the community.

To align with this year’s carnival theme, all vendors must provide a simple, carnival-style game at their booth for attendees to enjoy. Vendors are responsible for supplying small prizes for participants.

Registration is Free; Deadline to Register is 5:00pm July 3, 2026.

Community Night is July 21st 4:00pm-7:00pm at Metcalfe Park

Cleat Exchange at Community Night in the Park - Annual 2026

Fountain Parks and Recreation is excited to host a Cleat Exchange at this year's Community Night in the Park! The theme is CARNIVAL so bring the whole family out for an evening of fun, games, and community spirit. 

How it Works

• Drop off Cleats: Gently used football, soccer, or baseball cleats can be dropped off Monday - Friday at the Fountain Parks & Recreation Office or City Hall. A collection bin will be available for quick and easy drop-off.
• Condition: Cleats must be clean and in good condition (no holes or tears).
• Who Can Participate: Open to everyone-you don't need to be a Fountain resident. 
• Cost: FREE! Donating cleats is not required to receive a pair. (Limit: one pair per player).
• Note:  We cannot guarantee all sizes will be available.

Fountain 5k! - Summer 2026

5K run/walk on July 28th at 5:30 PM at Metcalfe Park!

This family-friendly event is perfect for runners of all levels, from seasoned athletes to first-time participants. Enjoy a scenic course through the park, fresh air, and a great community atmosphere as we come together for an active night out. Lace up your shoes, bring your friends, and kick off your evening with fitness, fun, and local spirit.

Registration is 10$

All registered participants will receive 1 Fountain 5k T-Shirt at registration on race day!

2026 Summer Soccer - Summer 2026

Youth Soccer is available in the Spring for youth ages 4-up to 13 years old (if your child turns 13 before 5/30/2026 your child is not eligible for play) and is designed to develop an understanding of rules, teamwork, fundamentals, and sportsmanship. Teams will play a 6 game regular season (5 Games Guaranteed), with games being held on Saturday in Fountain at Fountain Mesa Park starting May 30st, 2026 and ending June 27th, 2026. *YOUR CHILD'S AGE MAY GIVE AN OPTION TO BE IN TWO AGE GROUPS PLEASE ADD YOUR CHILD TO THE BEST FIT*  

• Early Registration ends on 3/01/2026:                        Cost $30
• Regular Registration ends on 5/8/2026: Cost $35
• Late Registration ends on 5/26/2026                  Cost $45

Co-ed Kickball 2026 - Spring 2026

Our self-officiated kickball league is designed for teams who wish to play kickball while exercising and enjoying a fun laid back atmosphere. Players MUST be 16 or older to play. 1 person will sign up for the whole team. If you are an induvial looking to play for a team, we may be able to find a team for you. Single registrants give us a call 719-322-2030

We will schedule for seven games with five (5) games guaranteed.

Games will be played Thursday night’s starting April 23rd; Last scheduled game will be June 4th (depending on cancelations) .

Cost is $125 per team 
Cost for late registration is $175 which ends 4/15

2026 Youth T-ball & Baseball - Summer 2026

Our youth baseball is available in the summer for youth ages 4 -up to 13 years old (If your child turns 13 before July 11th, they will not be eligible for play).  Is designed to develop an understanding of rules, teamwork, fundamentals, and sportsmanship. Teams will play 6 games, with games being held at Metcalfe Park on Saturdays.  Season begins July 11th, 2026, and ends August 15th, 2026. **YOUR CHILD'S AGE MAY GIVE AN OPTION TO BE IN TWO AGE GROUPS PLEASE ADD YOUR CHILD TO THE BEST FIT*

*T-ball co-ed ages 4-5

*Coach Pitch co-ed ages 6-8

*Machine Pitch co-ed ages 8.5-10

*Player Pitch co-ed ages 10.5- up to 13           

• Early Registration ends April 30th, 2026           Cost $30
• Regular Registration ends June 19th, 2026         Cost $35
• Late Registration ends July 7th, 2026                Cost $45

Co-ed Softball 2026 - Fall 2026

Team Registration-

Designed for friends to enjoy each other’s company while exercising and enjoying the atmosphere;

Season will consist of a minimum of 5 games.  If we have more than 6 teams, we will add additional games.  

Games will be played Thursday night’s starting September 24th; last scheduled game will be November 5th. 

Cost is $300.00 per team

Each Team will be required to pay a cash $25.00 Umpire Fee before each game.
