The Georgetown Tennis Center is a registered TIA Tennis Welcome Center and a USTA 10 & Under Approved Facility. The facility is open year-round, offering tennis and pickleball lessons, leagues, tournaments and camps.

The Georgetown Tennis Center offers memberships, however membership is not required to use the facility. Without a valid membership, court fees are $3 per person, per hour.

 

Court Reservations

  • Courts may be reserved 1 week in advance for members and 48 hours in advance for non-members. Reservations can be made by phone or in person.
  • Reservations are not accepted until 9:00AM each day. (Beginning July 7, 2025)
  • Reservations will not be accepted via e-mail.
  • Reservation times are scheduled 2 hours maximum per day.
  • Reservations are sometimes moved to maximize space. You are not guaranteed to play on the court you reserved.
  • Only 1 reservation per person/per day. Only 2 court reservations per person.
  • You may not reserve a court for someone else. You must be present for your reservation.
  • All players must check in at the front desk before entering the courts.

Cancellation Policies

  • Cancellations will not be accepted via email. You must call or cancel in person.
  • Court cancellations must be made minimum 24 hours in advanced of your reserved time. Cancellations must be made during normal operating business hours.
  • Court reservations: After four no-call or no-shows for a court reservation, you will be asked to provide a credit card to be kept on file for future reservations.
  • Programs must meet minimum participant requirements prior to start date of the course (2 participants). Courses not meeting minimum requirements will be canceled. Full refunds will be issued for departmental cancellations.
  • Programs/Camps: Full refunds will only be given if notice is received 3 or more days prior to the start of the program. If notice is received less than 3 days prior to the start of the program, a partial refund may be issued based on any classes attended, plus a 20% withdrawal fee will be held. No refunds will be given for no-shows or missed classes.
  • Private Instruction: 24-hour notification for cancellation is required. No-shows will be charged the full lesson rate.
  • Tennis classes/clinics will be canceled if temperatures and/or windchill of 32 degrees or below, temperatures and/or heat index of 105 degrees or hotter, or damp or wet court conditions.

Ball Machine

  • Tennis Ball Machine: Courts available are 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11
  • Pickleball Ball Machine: Courts available 6A, 6B, 8A, 9A, 10B, 11B.
  • When using the ball machine, please have all the balls picked up by the end of your allotted time as a courtesy to the next person using the court.

Racket Stringing

  • There is a 48-hour turnaround time for completion once dropped off, apart from holidays and weekends. A $10.00 express stringing fee can be charged if you want a 1-day turnaround, if available. Upon completion of stringing and/or racquet services, please pick up your racquet in a timely manner. If you do not pick up your racquet within 3 months, it becomes the property of Georgetown Tennis Center.
