2026 6v6 Volleyball League - Winter 2026

Bump, set, spike!  Improve your volleyball skills and have fun through team practice and 
competition.  Participants will be divided into co-ed teams based on  grades: 5th/6th and 7th/8th. Based on the number of teams we have sign up, all age groups will play each other.   Please indicate preferred team members on the registration form. This is a self-run league and coaches are not assigned.
Maximum roster size is 8 players. Teams will have practices and games at North Elementary in the Gym. There will be a one-day tournament held to conclude the season.  
All players will receive a team t-shirt that  they will wear to games. Participants need to wear gym shoes and comfy clothes.  
**Kneepads are encouraged but not required.**

Dates, Location and Times
Saturdays beginning March 14th through May 9th at North Elementary School between 
11:30 am- 5:00 pm. (March 14, 21, 28, April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9 [May 9 will be used as a 
make-up game]).  Participants will be called on Monday, March 9th to let participants know what time they will be scheduled on Saturday, March 14.  Schedules and t-shirts will be passed out  on March 14.

2026 Godfrey Summer Camp - Summer 2026

Kids ages 6 - 13 years of age are invited to the Godfrey Summer Camp! The will take place at Camp Warren Levis in Godfrey and will feature activities such as: hiking, swimming, fishing, STEM, target sports, outdoor games and water activities!

The camp is open to kids ages 6-13 years old. The camp will run the week of June 22nd- 26th 2026 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The camp costs $150 per camper and includes lunch. Spacing is limited! Parents are able to attend with their child if they would like. (Does not include lunch)

2026 Riverbend Baseball League - Summer 2026

Batter up! Our youth baseball and softball program seeks to teach participants the fundamentals of baseball and softball while instilling good sportsmanship values.  Practice will begin Mid-April with games beginning in May. Each team is guaranteed 10 games throughout the season. All home games are played on the ball fields at Glazebrook Park and the Godfrey Ball Park on Stamper Lane. The season will begin in May 2026.*  *T-Ball and Pitching Machine will end in early July* and will receive their medals at our Family Fun Fest on July 4, 2026.*   10U, 12U and 14U will have their end of the season tournament after the 4th of July* and will receive medals/awards on the field. All participants will be responsible for purchase of proper game day pants and socks. Baseball pants will need to be white, softball pants will need to be black, and socks will be determined based on team color.  Birthdate follows the current school year grade in the Fall of 2025/2026.  (*Godfrey Parks and Recreation has the right to add to, delete from, and amend all schedules/dates as deemed necessary.  Dates are tentative and are subject to change.*)

2026 Rookie Baseball - Summer 2026

Rookie Baseball is designed to assist players ages 3 - 5 years in learning the basic skills 
Program Goals: Get out and play! Have fun while developing motor skills, self – esteem and basic
baseball skills!
Requirements: This is a family oriented program requiring all children registered to have a parent or guardian present to participate with the child. A glove is required; all other equipment is optional as the parks department will provide it.

Location: Sessions A and B will be held on field 3 and Session C will be on Field 1 at Godfrey Ball Park unless otherwise noted.

2026 FREE Fishing Derby - Spring 2026

Join the Godfrey Parks and Recreation Department on April 25, 2026 for their FREE Catch and Release Youth Fishing Derby!  The day will begin at 9:00 am with registration, followed by the beginning of fishing at 10:00 am.  Fishing will last until 11:30 am and the judges will make their final decisions. At 12:00 pm there will be an award ceremony with awards like biggest catch, most fish caught and the strangest catch!  Participants are asked to bring bait of their choice and their own fishing pole. Age groups are 4-6 years old, 7-9 years old and 10-12 years old.

2026 Spring Youth Soccer League - Spring 2026

Have fun, build sportsmanship and learn basic soccer skills with team practice and league play.  Practice begins in February with game play beginning in March. All teams are guaranteed at least 8 games. Scholarships are available to be determined by office staff. 
GAMES WILL BE PLAYED ON THE NEW TURF FIELDS!

Leagues will be broken down by 2025-2026 grade level; K-1(Co-Ed), 2-3(Co-Ed), 4-5 Boys, 4-5 Girls, 6-8 Boys, 6-8 Girls.

Scholarships are available to be determined by office staff. Tournaments are additional games not included in the registration price and are not guaranteed.
