*Register at this period if you are one of the following: a volunteer coach, a coach registering a full team, or a family registering 3 or more family members  


General Registration: September 1 - 21

*A general waitlist is opened after general registration closes, though placement on a team is not guaranteed, and incurs a $10 additional charge fee if a spot is available.

U8 Girls & Boys Division

Join us for our youth basketball league! This league is offered for players with a birth year of 2018 and 2019. We will have both a girl's division and a boy's division. Participants have the choice to practice on Mon/Weds or Tues/Thurs at a City of Greeley or District 6 facility of their choice. Game schedules will be released during the first week of practices. Teams are scheduled for and guaranteed to play 5 games. All teams will be led by volunteer coaches. 

Season: Winter I (October 20-December 15)

Cost: $ 50 resident/$ $60 non-resident

Jr. Nuggets U10 Girls & Boys Division

Join us for our youth basketball league! Families will have the option for two (2) practices per week on either Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays at various city and school District 6 facilities with five (5) guaranteed Saturday games at the downtown Greeley Recreation Center, Rodarte Community Center, or Family Funplex. Families’ registration fees also include one (1) NBA Nuggets Game ticket and a reversible Jr. Nuggets gameday jersey (size is requested during registration process and cannot be changed after registration closes). Leagues are open for 2017/2016 birth years for both boys and girl's divisions. All teams will be led by volunteer coaches. 

Season: Winter II (January 5, 2026- February 23, 2026)

Cost: $78/ $88 resident/ nonresident

INTERESTED IN COACHING

All Basketball Teams will be led by volunteer coaches! We ask that coaches have some familiarity in the sport and are comfortable with leading young athletes into practices and games. Anyone in the local community is able to volunteer.

How do I sign up?

To request to become a volunteer coach you must complete the Volunteer Registration Form and contact Noel Cardinelli at 970-350-9409 or at noel.cardinelli@greeleygov.com

What forms must be completed in order for me to become a coach?

We ask that each volunteer coach completes a Volunteer Release Agreement Form, NFHS Concussion Training Certificate, and a background check with HR. We also ask coaches to become familiar with Greeley Recreations Coaches Responsibilities and Expectations plus the Youth Sports Philosophy and Code of Ethics.
