General Rules & Regulations

As a recreation league, JCSD Youth Volleyball League places emphasis on player improvement and development with our leagues structured accordingly. Please review this summary of major rules as well as the official JCSD rulebook linked below in a PDF.

Rule Highlights

• All players must play
• Rotations are as follows:

•  When your team receives possession, a player from the bench takes the position of P1 and players move one position over following the arrows until the player formerly on P6 moves onto the bench. 
• Service begins on P1. P1 serves until losing a point, or when 4 balls are served in which there would be another rotation.
• Order on the bench must remain the same throughout the entire set. Adjustments can be made in following sets.
