2026 Summer Camp - - Summer 2026

Come join the Longview Youth Softball Association this summer for a six week camp to help develop your players skills. From brand new players to players who are wanting to hone those skills in, this six week camp led by LYSA Player Development Coach Audrey Stone will help give your player the skills they need to be successful on the field. This camp is open to any player in the surrounding area. 

Areas that will be focused on are proper throwing mechanics, fielding, and hitting. 

Who is it for: First time players, players who have only played rec league ball

Camp Dates: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 22, July 6, July 13
Times: 6:00pm to 8:00 pm, Check-in starts at 5:30 pm

Overnight Showdown! - Summer 2026

Longview Youth Softball Association presents the inagural Overnight Showdown!

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the summer at the Overnight Showdown Softball Tournament! Teams in 8U, 10U, and 12U will compete under the lights in an up all night tournament filled with great competition, music, and unforgettable memories. Games begin in the evening and continue throughout the night as teams battle their way toward a sunrise championship. Bring your energy, your team spirit, and your best game as we turn the ballpark into an all-night softball experience. Spots are limited, so register early and join us for a night you'll be talking about long after the final out. 

Open to 8U, 10U, and 12U teams (limit 8 per divison). 

Games will start at 6:00 pm Friday evening with the championship starting around 8:00 am Saturday morning.  

This is a 3 GG tournament with 2 Pool games and a single elimination bracket.  Entry fee is $250 per team with $45 PAP but no gate fee for fans!

Pool Games: 55 minutes Bracket: 65 minutes

Concesssions will be available all night long. 

Summer 2026 Individual Registration - Summer 2026

Sign your player up for the Longview Youth Softball Association Summer league. Due to demand we are now offering individual signups. Teams will be created prior to June 1 with the season starting June 15. Each team will need a coach and we are requiring at least four teams for the division to play this summer. 

Players will register for the divison based on their age as of 9/1/2025 (NCS Age Calculator). 

Divisions: 

• 6U
• 8U
• 10U
• 12U
• 14U

Program Details: 

• Games: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Location: McWhorter Fields
• Teams will be created by the LYSA Board
